WONDERLUST ART, GO
The important Silkclan kitties!
Aka Thebans
The leaders(In order thats; Oedipus, Eteocles, Creon, Laodamas and Thersander)
And Others, that's; Polynices, Melanippus, Antigone, Ismene, Haemon and Maeon!
In Book 4 of the Iliad there's a Maeon with prophetic abilities, son of Haemon, mentioned as one of the fifty men who led an ambuish during the Seven Against Thebes episode against Tydeus, father of Diomedes, and the only one of them whom Tydeus spared his life because of the gods' will.
Now, are these the same Maeon and Haemon, or two different figures who just happen to come from Thebes as well? And if this is the case then are you going to tell me that I've made headcanons about the son of Antigone and Haemon purely based on Euripides' lost play and Hyginus' account when a whole ass lore was right here?!

“angered by fate and sad because death was denied him”
Hello Mae Kampong #maekampong #maeon #chiangmai #thailand #thailand🇹🇭 (at แม่กำปอง) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bql9Yu2FmqQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1dy6in9wog3gy
But straight the high-souled seer Had bared his sword and, eying now the blade, Now the king's scowling face: 'This blood of mine Your right shall never claim. You shall not strike This breast not lost to mighty Tydeus. I Rejoicing go to find the fate refused And join my comrades waiting in the shades. You--gods...brothers...' As he spoke his sword, Thrust in his side hilt-deep, cut short his words... What strain of mine, blest seer whom heaven loves, What eulogy, can add renown to match Your prowess? Not in vain Apollo taught His heavenly lore and deemed you worthy of His laurel, and, though he is silent now, Gladly Dodona, mother of the groves, And his priestess will mystify the world. Go now and, far removed from Tartarus, Enjoy the Elysian fields, a happy clime No Theban ghost can reach, where guilty kings' Injustice has no power. Inviolate, Body and clothes untouched by beasts of prey, Beneath the open sky he lay: the woods And birds kept watch...
