☼ - what I find most interesting about them

Probably the depth to his character! Very little it stated directly in the movie, but you can see it in all the pictures he has on his wall and stuff. And! He’s so deeply emotional about things, and he’s so hurt by the way the world’s become, and he has so much love for some things, like science and music. And he loves Eve so much, and she helps him feel better when he’s having trouble. ! I wish we could know more about him. Side note and fun fact, I made this blog because I had a dream about Adam and his past and shit, and I wanted to get into that.  

■ - my least-favorite thing about them

He doesn’t spend enough time kissin his wifeNo, um, he’s lost kindness. The world has made him hard, and even though I understand, it’s sad.  

▶ - one plot I’ve always wanted to do with them

I don’t even have something specific, really. I just really want Cora to come back and write everything with me on her Eve. Instead y’all gotta deal with my whining and dumb shit.

                                                                                ADMITTEDLY,  he’d been a tad careless, so to speak, when he’d started considering the consequences of attending a support group.  of course, for ira, he couldn’t afford to think of that ;  were there any reason for him not to go, assuredly, he’d take it ;  but that was the issue.  distracted by the act of going itself.  so when he’d pushed open the doors  &  walked in, it came as a    SHOCK   to see leonardo there as well.  he’d been silent, mind ;  cautious, too perplexed to breach the subject so head on ;  he’d sat across from him the entire time, he’d not uttered a word.  (  but silences don’t last.  )

gripping the other’s arm as they,  &  numerous others, depart, he’ll tug him aside, worrisomely burning into him ;  stands close, of course.  as was their friendship.

"Touch me. Trust me."

Trust is a very, peculiar thing.

Leonardo’s face is cupped in his palms, during a soft, placid moment when the sun was warm and streamed beautifully through the opened windows of his workshop. Roland had done his part, masquerading as an artist of the poetic arts, one of Leo’s newest, artistic fascinations, and hath slipped beneath the wave of suspicion like a bee in the wind.

Roland had cupped that gorgeous face, framed in soft, brown hair and lighted with his glimmering eyes, in a moment of sublime wonder. The words said after had his brows rising.

Trust.

“I haven’t trusted very often,” he says, in a moment of soft honestly. His brows knit by the slightest fraction. “I had no means. Have no means. I am myself, and all I have is myself.” He eyes Leonardo, looking purposeful and deep. “You would have me trust thee?”

"Voi sapete che siete molto importante per me, sì?" Leonardo patted his cheek affectionately, offering a wide smile. "And a good man."

                   ‘ I, well ------- ’ which, is definitely not a proper sentence ; his gaze falls on the other and he watches leonardo move close enough to be able to pat his cheek. the engineer actually beams up at him, expression bright and maybe slightly child-like ( the expression of someone who maybe needed to hear something like that a little bit too much ; of someone who was craving casual affection ). he smiles back, almost unsure, and nods with as much conviction as he can muster. 

                                              ‘ THANK YOU, LEONARDO. ’

he stays quiet for a moment, head ducked slightly as he tries to react to the sudden burst of affection. it’s no news that leonardo is touchy and tony doesn’t mind at all. he likes the casual pats on the back when they’re discussing possible inventions ; the soft squeeze the artist gives his shoulder whenever they’re close enough and they’re talking about past, present and future. it’s nice and gentle and soft. he sighs softly, the smile growing on his lips as he moves out of instinct ( does what he’d do if it had been rhodey standing there ) : he places his own hand on the other’s cheek, pats softly, and then moves it behind his neck to make him lean in. when they’re close enough, he places a kiss on the side of his head and then goes back to pat his cheek.  ‘ Thank you. ’

No, I’m fine.

Says the guy stuck on the floor after falling off the kitchen counter. Again. Like he always does. This is why he needs adult supervision at all times.

He grunts when something twinges painfully and tenses up on the floor, grimacing up at his boyfriend.

‘M fine. It’s cool. Just give me a minute and I’ll get myself to the couch to chill for a bit. But can you get the box of cookies off the top shelf for me, please?
