The room was cold.

Bare concrete, metal table, a chair bolted down—and a single demon sitting in it, shackled and trying very hard to look unfazed.

Y/N Carmine stepped inside without a word.

No introduction.

No threat.

Not even a smile.

Just a slow, uninterested glance at him before setting a leather bag on the table.

The demon smirked. “Ha! Ya think you’re scarin’ me? I don’t talk to nobody but—”

Clink.

She pulled out a serrated knife and placed it gently on the table.

No reaction.

Just a blade… casually existing between them.

The demon swallowed. “I—I mean, you can try whatever you want, sweetheart. I ain’t sayin’ a damn thing—”

She placed a second weapon beside it.

A bone saw.

Still without looking at him.

Alastor leaned casually against the wall, hands clasped behind his back, watching like she was performing some elegant stage act.

“Marvelous form,” he murmured, eyes warm with admiration. “Such poise.”

The demon scoffed nervously. “W-What? Think you’re tough because of your pet? I ain’t afraid of—”

THUNK.

She dropped a medieval-looking hook onto the table with a sound so heavy and final that even Alastor blinked.

She still hadn’t spoken.

Hadn’t moved faster than a leisurely pace.

But her eyes—calm, analyzing, utterly unimpressed—were dissecting him like he wasn’t even worth the effort.

The demon began shifting in his seat. “A-Alright, so maybe I did move some guns without askin’ but—hey, it’s business! Everybody does it!”

Y/N retrieved a polished cleaver and wiped a nonexistent speck of dust from its edge.

She held it up to the low lamp.

Tilted her head.

As though studying art.

The demon’s voice cracked. “A-Actually, okay, maybe not EVERYBODY—ha—haha—okay look, I didn’t even make that much profit—”

Alastor hummed contentedly, utterly smitten.

“She’s exquisite, isn’t she?” he said to no one in particular. “Doesn’t even need to speak. Terrifying efficiency.”

Y/N set the cleaver down, lifted a handgun from the bag, checked it with expert indifference, then placed it beside the others.

The demon now looked like he was about to pass out. “H-Hey—come on—c-can’t we talk about this? P-Please?”

She blinked once.

Slow.

Unbothered.

Then she reached into the bag again.

The demon screamed.

“OKAY OKAY I DID IT! I DID IT! I MOVED THE WEAPONS THROUGH YOUR TERRITORY—WITHOUT PAYIN'—WITHOUT PERMISSION—I’M SORRY—PLEASE DON’T KILL ME—PLEASE—PLEASE—PLEASE—”

Y/N calmly slipped on a pair of golden Carmine-branded brass knuckles on, flexing her fingers as she adjusted to their fit.

The demon sobbed. “I’ll pay double! Triple! I’ll clean your goddamn house just don’t—don’t use those—”

She finally looked at him.

Really looked at him.

Stone-cold.

Completely done with his existence.

He fainted.

Alastor pushed off the wall, slow-clapping with genuine enthusiasm. “Magnificent performance, darling. Truly! You almost made me jealous of the knives.”

She slid the weapons back into her bag, still silent, still cool. As she passed Alastor, his grin widened.

“You know…” he murmured, leaning closer, “it’s extraordinary how you can unmake a man with nothing more than a raised eyebrow. I dare say it’s one of the many reasons I’m simply… enamored with you.”

She smirked, her voice still not returning, but Alastor could practically hear the low purr meant only for him that let him know what’s to come when they get home. All without her even making a sound.

His breath hitched.

Static crackled.

She leaned up to kissed his cheek before leaving the room.

Alastor stood frozen for a long, dazed second—then laughed softly to himself, utterly besotted.

“I’m with the perfect woman.”

Behind them, the unconscious demon slumped forward, still crying in his sleep.

Chapter - 6.

| Nikolai's POV |

It doesn't matter.

That was the exact moment the final thread of my restraint snapped.

The heat flared behind my eyes, a blinding, white-hot rush of adrenaline and pure fury that had been building for the last seventy-two hours.

My eyes were seeing nothing but red.

I yanked her forward with enough force to nearly rip her off her feet, dragging her stumbling body until she was pinned flat against the cold living room wall.

The back of her head hit the wall with a dull thud, and she let out a sharp, breathless gasp.

"Everything you fucking do matters, Maya!" I roared, the volume of my voice rattling the windowpanes of the apartment.

She flinched violently, her eyes widening due to pure terror.

But I didn't care.

"You think you get to hide out in this apartment and pretend the world isn't burning down because of your goddamn stupidity?" I hissed, "You think you get to play the victim? Look at me!"

She wouldn't. She kept her chin tucked down, tears instantly welling up in her eyes and spilling over her pale cheeks.

"I said look at me, Maya!" I snarled, my left hand flying out to grip her jaw, my fingers digging into her skin to force her face upward.

"Niko," Jeremy’s voice cut in from behind me, sharp and warning. "Easy. We don't have the time."

"Stay away from this, Jeremy," I spat over my shoulder, not loosening my grip on her jaw by a fraction.

I wanted her to see the hatred in my eyes. I wanted her to understand exactly what she had done. I had spent the last year carrying the weight of this family, dealing with the truth of Mia’s kidnapping—a trauma that had nearly broken my sister completely—and the entire time, the root of the rot was sitting right in front of me.

"You set up your own sister," I whispered, my voice dropping to a lethal. "But I thought... I actually thought you were just a weak, easily manipulated coward. I didn't think you were a fucking traitor."

Maya’s lips parted, a choked sob escaping her throat. "Nikolai, please—I didn't—I don't know what you're—"

"Don't lie to me!" I roared, slamming my open palm against the wall right next to her ear. The sound was like a gunshot in the small room.

She shrieked, curling inward, but I grabbed her shoulder and forced her flat again.

"Do you have any idea what happened twelve hours ago in New York? Do you have any goddamn clue?"

She just wept, shaking her head back and forth against the wall, her hands clawing weakly at my wrists.

"The Irish. They are back. They hit our main harbor facility," I told her, each word dripping with cold rage.

"They knew the exact schedule of our shipments. They knew the blind spots in our security. They knew the rotation of our guards. They slaughtered twenty of our men in cold blood, Maya. Twenty men who had families, who served the Sokolov name faithfully. And then they went for the estate."

Her breath hitched, her eyes locking onto mine for the first time, filled with a sudden, dawning horror.

"Yes," I sneered. "They breached the perimeter. And Dad took a bullet to the chest trying to hold the line. Our father is lying in a private medical bay right now, surrounded by machines, fighting for his life because of you."

"No..." she whimpered, the sound barely human. "No, no, Dad... oh god, no..."

"Don't you dare pretend to care about him now," I snapped, my fingers tightening on her jaw. "And you know who's the traitor who provided information to them? Its you."

"I didn't! I swear to you, Nikolai, I never spoke to any Irishmen! I didn't know anything about the harbor schedules!"

She was hyperventilating now, her chest heaving against mine, her voice cracking into a frantic, desperate shriek.

"Please, you have to believe me, I would never betray bratva. I would never help them!"

"Oh, really?" I let out a dark, humorless laugh that sounded more like a growl. "Then let's talk about Ilya."

The moment the name left my mouth, Maya froze entirely. The frantic writhing stopped. The sobbing cut off into an abrupt, dead silence.

The absolute guilt that flashed across her face was so vivid, so immediate, that it felt like a physical slap.

"Yeah," I whispered, my eyes narrowing as I watched the blood drain completely from her face until she looked translucent.

"That caught your attention, didn't it? Ilya. The sweet, charming fling of yours? The man you let into your bed. The man you and we thought was just a harmless nobody."

"He... he was just..." she stammered, her eyes darting frantically around the room.

I didn't wait for her answer. I didn't care about her answer.

"He is an Irish prince, Maya," I spat, the reality of it still turning my stomach into a knot of pure fury. "He was a fucking spy between us. He became Jeremy's guard to collect the personal bratva information. We never, never let him get inside our study because I always had this gut feeling about him. But you know who gave it to him in silver platter? You. He’s part of the inner circle of the faction that is currently trying to exterminate our family. And do you want to know how I found out?"

"Because the bastard called my personal line three hours ago," I roared, the rage exploding out of me again.

I let go of her jaw. "He called me while I was standing in a puddle of our men's blood at the harbor! He called to mock me. He called to tell me exactly how easy it was to bleed the Sokolovs. And do you know what he said, Maya? Do you want to know what he credited his grand victory to?"

Maya was crying silently now, her entire body trembling so hard she couldn't even support her own weight.

"He told me that the diva sings beautifully behind closed doors," I hissed, the words burning my throat. "He laughed in my face, Maya. He told me that all it took was a few weeks of fucking you, a few compliments, a little bit of attention, and you spilled everything. He knew about our structural weaknesses because you told him. You let him in our study rooms. You prattled on about our family's business like a brainless, desperate girl just to keep a man interested!"

"I didn't know!" she screamed, the sound tearing from her lungs, raw and agonizing. "I didn't know who he was! I didn't tell him secrets, I just—we were just talking! I swear to God, Nikolai, I didn't know!"

"That makes it worse!" I lost control. The sheer, blinding fury over my father’s injury, over Mia’s broken state, over the twenty dead bodies currently sitting in a New York morgue—it all fused into a single, violent impulse.

I was about to do something i will probably regret later but Jeremy held me back.

"We need her conscious,Nikolai!" Jeremy yelled directly into my ear, his grip tightening until my ribs cracked. "Look at her! If you hit her now, she’s going to pass out, and we don't have time to carry eeight through an extraction! The Bratva is under total threat. The Pakhan gave a direct order—every single family member goes back to Russia immediately under maximum security. That includes her!"

"She doesn't deserve protection!" I spat, my chest heaving as I finally stopped fighting Jeremy's grip, though my glare remained locked onto the trembling girl collapsed on the floor.

The moment I had been torn away from her, Maya’s knees had completely given out. She had slid down the wall and was now curled into a tight ball on the hardwood floor, her arms wrapped around her head, weeping so violently her entire torso was shaking.

I stared down at her, the sheer, unadulterated disgust inside my chest bubbling up like acid.

Look at her. The great Maya Sokolov. The diva. Her hair was a tangled, bird-nest disaster, her face was completely devoid of color, and her lips were bitten raw, practically oozing fresh blood. She looked like a corpse that had crawled out of a shallow grave, and sometimes twisted violently inside my chest.

But i ignore it.

20 men were killed due to her carelessness.

"Get up," I growled, my voice cold as ice now.

Maya didn't move. She just kept rocking back and forth on the floor, her muffled sobs filling the silent apartment.

"I said get the fuck up, Maya," I repeated, stepping around Jeremy. I walked over to her, reached down, and grabbed her by her shoulders.

She let out a sharp, choked cry of pain, her hands flying up to grasp at my wrist.

"Listen to me very carefully," I whispered. "You are going to stand up. You are going to walk out of this door, and you are going to get into the car. If you make a single sound, if you shed one more fucking tear, or if you slow us down by even a second, I will forget that we share the same blood. Do you understand me?"

She couldn't speak. She just nodded frantically, her teeth chattering together so hard I could hear them clicking.

"Good." I released her.

Jeremy moved past me, his eyes scanning the hallway outside before turning back to us. "The perimeter is clear for now, but our spotters report a suspicious vehicle three blocks down. We need to move. Now."

"Get up," I ordered coldly, turning my back on my sister. "Otherwise i will carry you."

"I can walk," Maya whispered from the floor.

She pushed herself up, using the wall for support, her legs shaking so violently it looked like she was walking on ice.

She didn't look at me. She didn't look at Jeremy. She kept her eyes glued to the floor, her arms wrapped tightly around her own chest as if she were trying to hold her shattered soul together.

She took a step forward and almost stumbled. I knew she was in no position to walk. And we dont have enough time for this.

I stepped forward and took her in my arms. And i freeze.

Because she was as weightless as a leaf. I looked at her face for a second, the red haze siding for a second. Her eyes were closed, and her body stiff.

"Niko, move." Jeremy said, breaking my thoughts.

I nodded, moving forward.

We left the apartment behind, stepping out into the damp, grey morning air.

The armored SUV was idling at the curb, its tinted windows reflecting the bleak sky.

As I forced Maya into the back seat and slammed the heavy, reinforced door shut, I made myself a silent promise.

Maya will stay the fuck away from everything and everyone. In that case, neither she will hurt anyone nor she will be able to do something more worse.

──── Florentina is seen talking to an old friend at the Golden Disc Awards and fans aren’t able to contain their excitement.

The GDA stage was a blur of flashing lights and booming bass, but at the Stray Kids section, the atmosphere was a mix of nervous energy and excitement. Flora along with the members are sitting back in their seat just after their performance, all still in their outfit, Flora’s catching her breath. Her long brown hair — styled dramatically for the stage — spills over her shoulders as she sips water, eyes still glowing from adrenaline.

That’s when a familiar voice cuts through the noise.“Hey.” Flora turns. It’s Jennie. Flora’s eyes widen as she sees her close friend who also just got done with her awe-dropping performance. For a split second, they just look at each other — two women who understand exactly what it took to stand on that stage. Then they smile. “Your performance,” Jennie says, genuine, “was insane. Divine was my favorite.”

Flora laughs softly, a little bashful but proud “Coming from you? That means everything. I was watching your stage earlier — you looked amazing like I fell out of my seat trying to make sure I got all .”

Jennie waves it off with a grin. “Please. You and Stray Kids just tore the place down. That Ceremony version? I’m pretty sure this was a Stray Kids concert and you invited the Golden Disc Awards to attend😂.”

They lean against the sofas, shoulder to shoulder, like old friends instead of two of the most talked-about women in K-pop. “You did amazing noona,” Flora adds. “You always make it look effortless. But I know it’s not.”

Jennie glances at her, eyes softening. “Yeah. It’s not. But nights like this make it worth it.” Flora nods. “Exactly.” There’s a brief pause — comfortable, understanding.

Jennie adjusts Flora’s her jacket, laughing. “Did you choose your hair color? If so the brown suits you well.” Jennie asks the dark skin woman. “Actually Chan picked this. He thought this color would suit my features, matching my skin color. Safe to say he did a good job.”

Flora smiles. “Sunbaenim I want to take this time to say thank you for always being an inspiration to not only the fans of k-pop and girls around the world but to me as well.“🫶🏽

Jennie bumps her shoulder lightly. “Right back at you. You’re setting a new standard. Stray Kids has been super successful and I’m super proud to see you guys rise up and prove to not only the fans but to yourselves why you deserve the awards, the praise, the interviews. Keep doing you Flora.”

A fan cam from STAY’S camera catches them laughing together. Flora leaning in to whisper something. Jennie throwing her head back laughing, and her and Flora take a cute selfie together as they continue watching other performances.

Within minutes, after the clip was posted to multiple platforms, instantly viral fans from TikTok, Instagram, Threads went crazy.

“FLORA AND JENNIE TALKING??? I’M NOT OKAY.”

Giving the open edges of her new jacket a little shake and tightening her pony tail, Elsa reached up and pulled the cord for her bus stop. Against her better judgment, and after she had asked Matthew a few dozen more questions, she had decided to go back to the courthouse.

She didn't want to, really, but it was better to see if the adults were there and deal with them right away instead of getting her foster parents involved too. The last thing she needed was for there to be even more adults yelling at her. Hopefully it would just be her caseworker there to deal with instead of her mom as well.

"Thank you!" Elsa called out on auto pilot as she hopped down from the bus after it had rolled to a stop. Taking a few steps forward, she took what she hoped was a calming breath. "Alright," she muttered. "Everything is fine. You got this."

Maybe, if she were lucky, no one would even be there. It had been two hours, after all, surely they would have given up on her coming back. In fact, she should just find a bus home, pretend this day had never happened, and-

"Elsa." Ah. Shit. Her caseworker did not sound happy. "Don't you dare run off again."

"Elsa!" Shit. Her social worker had been called? "There you are- I got a call that you had run off at the courthouse and no one could find you! What happened?"

"Is she alright?" Oh, fuck, even her mom was still there?! "Baby, what happened? Are you okay?" Okay. Okay, okay, okay, she could do this. She just had to come up with a good excuse- "Oh, baby, did you get overwhelmed?"

Oh. Well, hello excuse. Even if it came at the cost of her mom treating her like she was the little kid that got taken away from her. Well. Might as well lean into it.

Quickly, Elsa nodded and averted her eyes, not looking at any of them as she stayed silent. Silence, she figured, would work better than her trying to dig a grave for herself by making even more excuses. It would also give the impression she was 'upset,' whatever they decided that meant.

"Elsa, it's okay for you to get overwhelmed, but you can't just run off like you did." Her social worker said, not falling for her silence trick. "You can talk to us if you need to." Yeah, right.

"It's okay, I know this is a lot," her mom said, unintentionally giving her a reason to keep silent. "She was just moved to a new home not long ago, wasn't she? And a new school? That alone has to be overwhelming for her, I can't imagine adding on all of this is easy, either."

Her social worker seemed to frown, but Elsa didn't get to try and figure out why before her mom was speaking at her again, "Where did you go, Elsa? Did you go back to where you're currently staying? That home you're in?"

Well, if her mom was going to do all of the work for her, who was Elsa to deny it. She nodded along to the new excuse. She then steeled herself when her caseworker, the one who actually treated her like her age, asked, "And that was all today? Just got overwhelmed?"

"Like mom said, it's a lot." Elsa tried not to think on how she almost tripped over the word 'mom.' It was probably something she should talk about, just like she should talk about how she didn't want to go back to live with her mom, but… Elsa wasn't nice, but she wasn't cruel. She wasn't going to say that when her mom was right there and worried about her. "I…"

"Panicked?" Her mom took a step forward, but she didn't try to touch her, thankfully. With some of the initial adrenaline dying down now that no one was yelling at her, Elsa noticed that her mom looked better. She still seemed tired, but less than the last time Elsa had seen her, and her clothes were better. Less worn. "Honey, what did you panic about? Was it about the idea of finally going home?"

Behind her, Elsa noticed her caseworker and social worker were sharing looks with each other, one of them whispering something quietly. Elsa wasn't sure if she was feeling dread or hope, but either way she did something she did rarely and kept her mouth shut as she nodded along. She could feel the end of the conversation approaching, she just had to keep it headed there.

It could have been a minute or it could have been hours, but finally her social worker spoke loud enough for her to hear, "Well, we've already been given a rescheduled appointment by the court, so for now, why don't I take Elsa back to where she's staying?"

"I think that's a good idea," her caseworker said, looking back towards Elsa. "It's getting close to dinner time, after all, and we can always talk about this another day." Ah, so the conversation wasn't over, then, but just pushed back.

Before Elsa could think whether she wanted to say anything, she felt arms wrap around her. She froze, not sure what to do as she realized her mom was hugging her tightly. Frozen, she could only listen as she said, "Goodbye, baby. I'll see you soon — and next time, if you want, I can bring Dean! You two can finally meet."

Her mom squeezed her tightly before stepping back and letting go. Elsa did her best to appear unaffected even as it felt like she had something on her that she wanted to get off. Neither her caseworker or social worker seemed to notice, her social worker just heading for the parking lot. "Come on, Elsa, let's get going."

"Bye," Elsa said, avoiding her mom's gaze as she quickly followed after her social worker. She at least waited until she was in the car and buckled in to ask, "Am I in trouble?"

"No." Well, at least there was that. "You're not in trouble. We're not going to be upset at you if you really are just overwhelmed. "You're twelve. I know that means you're not a little kid who doesn't know what's going on, but that doesn't mean you're a teenager, yet. There's still a lot of danger out there even if you were older. You can't just run off and hope things will be alright."

"That wasn't what I did," Elsa said, tone firm because she knew it was something true. She had gone somewhere she felt safe, after all. She had only met Matthew twice, but with his warm smiles and the way he talked as if he got it, he was one of the safer places she could have gone.

Her social worker didn't immediately respond, instead staying quiet as she drove them back towards Rob and Linda's place. It was as they were almost there that her social worker said, "I called and spoke with Linda after you left." Ah, shit. "I know you weren't there, but I didn't tell her you ran away at the courthouse. She just thinks I called to remind you."

"Thanks…" Elsa said slowly before falling silent and nibbling on the inside of her cheek. She wasn't sure how to ask what she wanted to ask, but luckily it was done for her.

"So, where did you really run to?"

"A clothing store," Elsa said, hoping that it was honest enough she wouldn't be caught out. "Somewhere out of the way so I could just… calm down."

"Okay." Ah, the 'okay' of she didn't fully believe her, but she didn't really think she was straight up lying, either. Quieter, she repeated, "Okay." as they pulled up to the house. "But, Elsa, you know we're here to help you, right? You can tell us if something is wrong or if you're uncomfortable with where you're staying. You have that right."

"I…" She had a choice, she realized. She could either keep playing nice and say she was fine and go through with getting taken by her mom, or she could say she wasn't really comfortable with that. can I have a yugi x mob boss princess who’s the daughter of a mob boss. They used to run into criminals a lot in season o. Where she’s smitten with Yugi? Completely softens for him? She realistically knows they couldn’t be together, but she’s affectionate towards him. Maybe he’s like being held hostage and Yami has almost come out of his puzzle a few times but then stops because this mob boss princess is being super nice to him and keeping the rest of the mob from beating Yugi up, they don’t want to make her angry and then end up making her dad angry. Yugi thinks he might be poisoned with food they give him and she just goes over and takes a bite of his food and that obviously means it’s not poisoned.

Yugi x Mob!princess!reader

How did Yugi run into you? It should've been practically impossible shouldn't, no? He's more likely to win the lottery seven times than this. It was just a regular day when in a hurry to go home he entered an alleyway as a shortcut, even though he knew it wasn't a good idea. And boy he should've heard his gut and not go through there, but he was more worried about getting home quickly so in his hurry he ignored every nerve in his body telling him to back away.

The alley was bigger than he expected, to the point he felt lost, which shouldn't happen since alley was a straight path, it was odd...

The deeper he walked the smaller he felt, like the alley wanted to close in on him, the chilly cold of today made it feel like someone was breathing down his neck, and it was so quiet that he could hear his own heartbeat in his ears, he didn't even notice he had slowed down.

Big mistake.

Someone grabbed him by the back of his shirt pinning him against the wall, six big guys looked down at him, "Well hello there, what do we got here?" Said the guy who had grabbed Yugi, "how stupid can you be to casually walk into our territory?"

"I didn't know. Please let me leave, I promise I won't come here again!" Yugi says panicking, who were these guys, what could they possibly want from him??

"Tell ya what. You give us all your money and maybe we'll consider letting you go."

"I don't have any!"

"Well that's too damn bad, twink!"

One of the guys took Yugi's backpack, and when Yugi tried to stop the guy, the other guy shoved Yugi back to the ball knocking the wind out if, Yami was just about to step out of the millennium puzzle to intervene when suddenly someone wearing a black mask and a black hoodie appears and knocks three of the guys out with a metal baseball bat, kicks one of them in the balls and the other two drop Yugi's stuff and run away.

"Yeah you better run. ¡Hijos da puta! Próxima vez yo te mató!" you yell after them watching them run before turning to Yugi extending a hand to help him up, "you good?"

Yugi takes your hand, getting up, recovering from the shock, "Yeah... thanks for saving me."

"No prob. Those guys don't know their limits."

"Yeah, I can see that..."

You pick up his backpack, dusting it off before handing it back to him, "Here's your bag."

"Thanks." He takes the backpack back

"Come on, let me guide you out of this dirty alley."

You grabbed his hand before he could protest and walked with him, Yugi and Yami were both on edge the whole time, yeah you saved him but you also single-handedly knocked four guys out with a metal baseball bat in one swing, zero hesitation, which is concerning.

But right now he was feeling really shaken up and all he wanted was to go home and sleep, he even forgot why he was in a hurry, but right now it didn't feel like it was important anymore, only god knows what would've happened to him if someone hadn't intervened. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice it was about to start raining, only noticing when a raindrop had landed on his nose.

"Oh it's about to rain, let's go to my house, it's right over there. Wait it out." You note, and just like that you were dragging him ignoring every protest he had. You were right, you were right, your house was so much closer than his, wait, how did you know his house was far from here? Was it that obvious? He decided not to question you, you saved him after all.

But Yami didn't feel the same way as Yugi, how did you get into the alley on time to save Yugi? Why were you carrying a metal baseball bat? It clearly wasn't for sports. How where you so familiar with that alley? Why did you intervene? All questions he asked himself the whole time.

When you got to your house Yugi was stunned at just how big and grand it was, Yami was alarmed at how unnoticeable it was, it blended right in with the other houses, that was strange, it was right across the street from the alley, how had he not noticed?

You pulled out a black ornate key from your hair, it looked like a flower, a lotus to be exact, you unlock the door and are greeted by the butler, the butler glances at Yugi before his attention snaps right back to you like Yugi was a speck of dust that came in through the window.

The butler bowed, "Good afternoon, young mistress. Should I prepare tea for your guest?" He asked as you placed the key you had used in his hands.

"Yes please do, we'll be in my drawing-room, set it up there." You say calmly not letting go of Yugi's hand as you dragged him up stairs to the east wing, as you walked through the corridor to my drawing-room, Yugi noticed all the portraits and pictures on the wall some serious, some just your childhood, the biggest one was a portrait at the top of the stairs, a portrait of you in a red and black poofy dress and a man standing behind you with his hand your shoulder, who he assumes was your father since you look alike, same serious face.

When you both enter your drawing-room and you're greeted by many maids, one of them offers you a silver platter, you remove your mask and place it on the platter casually, half hazardly even though it looked like it was worth more than Yugi's house.

You sat on one of the red couches and he sat across from you, you asked him about himself, his school, his friends, his grandpa, which Yami was on edge that you knew about Yugi's friends and family seeing as he didn't ever mention them to you, how did you know so much about Yugi? Were you stalking him? How come he never felt your presence following if you were indeed stalking Yugi?

The butler entered the drawing-room followed by maids bringing in carts of dessert: two whole cakes, so many varieties of cookies he didn't know existed, bread with butter and honey, pudin, cupcakes, dango, tea and passion fruit juice in fancy glasses.

You picked up a cup of juice and placing a straw before taking a sip, "Feel free to eat as much as you like, Yugi~" you say picking up a cookie and holding it up to his mouth, "come on. Eat." You waited, the whole time though you couldn't hear, Yami was telling Yugi not to eat anything that suspicious girl gave him, but Yugi being the sweet boy he is didn't want to be rude so he opened his mouth and took a bite of the cookie causing Yami to facepalm so hard it left an actual mark.

But Yugi wasn't dropping dead, he felt fine, he finished the cookie and took another one chewing happily, it was really good. He continued to eat drinking the tea you offered him, blissfully unaware that you yourself had stopped eating just to watch him eat with a smile on your face, a soft, calm smile, a look of almost longing.

You talk about everything and nothing with him, Yami has settled for staring at your trophy wall (not like you could see him doing anyway) instead of being suspicious of you anymore since Yugi wasn't even listening to him anymore anyway.

The rain has stopped.

You walked Yugi to the door and you two said your goodbyes. He leaves, you close the door, you silently go back to your drawing-room, you've ordered your maids not to clean up. You pick up the tea cup Yugi had used and drink the tea at the bottom which he had said was too bitter for him, you didn't mind it.

Something that Yugi didn't know is you two actually go to the same school just different classes, you don't chase boys, boys chase you, but Yugi was special since he had been the first person in that school to talk to you without knowing who you were, and that boy caused you to have the biggest crush on him.

But you won't pursue it, you know your life isn't normal, you're life is a dangerous one and you wouldn't have it any other way, you like your dangerous life but you don't want to drag Yugi into this mess, he's too sweet, you see him like a rare porcelain doll, pretty to look at but if you hold it you'll break it.

Honestly, just holding hands with him was enough for you, but you won't date or befriend him like that. Holding hands this once was enough, seeing him happy living normally is enough.

"Young mistress, your toys have a arrived." Butler's voice at the door snapped you out of your thoughts, a devilish foxy smile slowly plays on your lips, "Good. Bring them in." You say calmly.

The six guys who had messed with Yugi are shoved into the room, tied up and gagged, looking up at you in fear, you snap your fingers, a maid brings a silver platter, and on it? A dragon gun, you take it, clock it and press it one of the guys' head.

"Hello again, hijos da puta~"

You place your finger on the trigger, he's sweating.

"We'll have a lot of fun together~"
