CHAPTER 1 REWRITTEN SUMMARY

Rui and Mizuki graduated colloge together. While Rui is a robotics engineer, Mizuki is finding their goal in life while helping Rui on the side. One day, while looking around in a junk yard, Mizuki finds a robot and asks Rui to look at it. Later they would find out the robot has the name "Tsukasa". Rui finds the robot fascinating and decides to take it home to repair. After he does repair him, Tsukasa turns on and observes his surroundings. Unfortunately, it seems that his memory card has been stolen, so Rui puts in a new one. But he still has his memory files, but again, because of the old memory card missing he can't really open the files. At the time, Rui was dating a girl named Nene. Rui caught his eye on Nene when she bumped into him in an alleyway. Rui admires Nene a lot; despite her ice cold skin and puppet-like eyes, she was perfect for him. One day, while he and Nene were on a date, Rui tells Nene about Tsukasa. Nene felt a kind of nostalgia and fear whenever he uttered his name, but she let Rui continue. Rui then offers her to meet with Tsukasa and she agrees. Rui brings Tsukasa to one of the parks near their home and introduces Nene to him. While Rui was explaining to Tsukasa what a girlfriend even is, he couldn't help but notice how Nene looked at Tsukasa. Almost like she saw a ghost. After he was done explaining, she wrapped his arm around Rui's and they began walking together. Tsukasa felt as he shouldn't walk with them, because they're meant to be with each other, he isn't meant to be anything yet. All of a sudden a kid crashes into Tsukasa, causing him to fall into a nearby river. Tsukasa hijacks but wakes up in Rui's workshop where he meets Mizuki for the first time. But then he meets someone else. A voice that talks to him in a mocking tone. He shakes it off, but he knows this won't be the last time he hears this voice. A few days later, Tsukasa's system gets hacked and a message gets sent to Rui.

"We will take him back to where he started"

This obviously freaked Rui out but the only thing to do was pretend everything was fine. Days pass by and Nene gets caught up in past memories. She remembers how she tried warning the love of her creation about the dangers of the environment they were in, but he didn't listen. He wanted to have hope in it, it was hard, but she had to leave him behind. Nene then confronts Rui and reveals most of things. She was a robot herself and was with Tsukasa when they were working together. This causes Rui to have a mental breakdown. His relationship of 3 years was an absolute lie, he couldn't handle it. He broke up with Nene and ran away in anger. He couldn't keep his anger though and when he went back home, he put all of it to Tsukasa to the point he shut him down and locked him up in a small room. This all backfires on him and causes him to have yet another breakdown. Then a purple haired robot appeared in front of Rui's window. The robot introduces herself as "Mafuyu". She explains how Tsukasa is in pain and a desperate situation, so instead of locking him up, he should help him. After calming Rui down, she leaves. Rui runs to Nene to have a talk and help him get Tsukasa out the room. Nene agrees and breaks down the door where Tsukasa was. The three of them have a warm conversation and Tsukasa reveals that he started remembering some of his past because of Nene. The latest one he remembers was the memory Nene was thinking about. They were definitely going to talk about this, but before that, they all neede a break.

Chapter 4: Prologue

And ever since then...I kept working and working...until she didn't need me anymore. She didn't set me free though. She kept me in a room because she knew I would tell someone. That was until Honarobo rescued me and we got out of that freakshow...

Oh...wait....but if you knew they we're killer robots...then why-

The blood was their own...

They had human corpses inside them...I only thought they murdered Mafuyu and Ena but it seems they haven't stopped their plays...

T-then that means...Tsukasa...was a real person?

He is...or...was...but Robokasa is only based off of him. He was brought to life by code. Not a soul.

I see...are the other robots..?

Yes. Akito was one of our employees...Honami was our stage director. When Saki thinks you're no longer needed, you are needed for the robots. What's scummy is that our employees aren't known people. Not a lot of people know that they exist. So it's no crime for them to die and be replaced by robots.

It's uhh...six forty five! Why?

Kanade pushes the "on" button and Tsukasa slowly gets up.

Hm...Where?

Tsukasa! Oh thank goodness!!! Are you al-!! Right...?

When Rui looks at Tsukasa, he sees that one of his pupils is now a star symbol instead of a spiral

W-what's wrong with your pupil?

The star...that means..!

What? What does that mean?!

I think while fixing him, some of the old codes Saki made me write got into his system.

Yes and no. It's a no, because now Tsukasa will be able to feel emotions again. It's also a yes, because...

Woah! Tsukasa really changed. Is there a way to reverse this?

After Minori gets Tsukasa covers. He wears a mask and turtle neck to hide his robotics parts. After Tsukasa wears them, Rui and Tsukasa say their goodbyes to Kanade and Honami before they leave with Minori.

Sigh! We got that problem fix!

So, Tsukasa. How does it feel to feel emotions?

Weird yet...comforting...but my emotions aren't like other people...

Everyone functions differently! That's what makes humans so great!

Meanwhile...(A day later)

Suddenly, Emu shuts off.

Emu starts to untie Nene from the ropes. Nene was clearly confused and so was Mafuyu. Nene looks over to Mafuyu but her eye catches something else. A figure. A figure in Emu's shadow. It was a girl. A girl with short hair, looking back at Nene with wide, rage filled eyes. She looks at the clock. It's noon. What does that mean?
