Happy Happy Birthday! I hope it's a great day!

Thank you thank you! It has been a wonderful 24 hours so far. :) Husband took me to Honeygrow last night, my favorite fast casual place. Slept in, spent the whole day writing that Steela Lives AU prompt, had Panera for lunch. My husband is SUPPOSED to be joining my on our new couch to watch a NatGeo documentary on the Okavango Delta and how Angola (which is upriver) is effecting it. I’m looking forward to tomorrow, I’m playing D&D. B)

I did that after finishing grad school and it SUCKED at the time, but I have to say that finally moving out with no loans and a solid amount in savings after a year and a half felt pretty great. I don't regret it at all 2 years later.

i think it’s mostly stress and homesickness right now? i visited with a friend this afternoon and she’s graduating this july (her college in the UK only does 3 years), it just made me think of how little i’ve done so far and it’s just... A Stressful Time

To be fair, I read Blood Brothers first and then I went and read Grey Areas and everything after that in order (as you were posting them, I think Grey Areas was the only one finished besides Blood Brothers when I started it haha). It’s one of my favorite series though, sometimes I go back and just read random chapters or the shorter stories because I love the whole universe so much. This person is so lucky that they get to read it all for the first time!

i remember how you read BLOOD BROTHERS first, LOL; and it inspired you to read GRAY AREAS, which was the not-so-secret goal for me with BLOOD BROTHERS. my weird bastard child of the Nonsense. now with a friend in PARALLAX, at least.

it’s so gratifying to hear you go back and read it! makes me think it all still holds up okay. and that the characterization was consistent, or close to it!
