Everyone’s saying that Ava will meet Odin in the dreamscape soon, but personally I think this is a fakeout. Odin isn’t pacted so he SHOULDN’T have a dreamscape yet, as far as I understand.

I think Ava might be connecting to ANOTHER pacted lifeform on the planet Excessa. Y’know, where they’re currently headed? She could be getting within range by now.

I know the chapter-pic features a fox-plush, which is connected to Odin’s imagery/fav animal, but YOU KNOW WHO ELSE IS CONNECTED TO ODIN, IS ASSOCIATED WITH SNOWY IMAGERY AND COULD POTENTIALLY BE PACTED AND A TITAN PRISONER ON EXCESSA BY NOW???

HCs for Magpie arriving at Ava and Maggie's schooling planet before Odin can arrive and making friends with Ava?

○Ava & Magpie□: Boarding School

Magpie left Aedinfell about when two or so years before the canon story takes place, so I imagine she would have searched for the strongest signal she could find, which leads her to Ava. Its not hard to enrol into the school pretending to be a refugee, I imagine her demon would have given her a similar device to the limbo lenses, something like a devining rod made out of her family necklace.

Naturally, when she approaches Ava, Ava would be shocked someone actually trying to befriend her. She'd probably warn Magpie away knowing sooner or later Wrathia would show up and ruin everything. If Ava could leave at least one good impression on someone, she'd be glad. Of course things don't go that way when Wrathia shows up and kicks into high gear jeering poor little Magdalai. Ava would probably say she didnt mean it, that she can't control her actions sometimes.

Of course Magpie would be offended but she has enough understanding of the God's powers to believe that Wrathia could do something like that. Magpie would tell Ava that it's okay and that they're the same. Ava would be so confused and shocked that someone actually takes her words at face value like that.

"wait... you believe me?"

"yes. your soul is attached to a spirit only you can see. an alien the likes you've never seen?"

"YES! She makes me do all sorts of horrible things, and says terrible things to me, its awful! I thought it was all in my head but... youre saying you have a demon too?"

"Theyre not demons, not really."

"Then what is she?"

"Why don't you ask her? I'm sure if you took a moment to listen to her story you'd get all the answers youre looking for."

It is at that moment Wrathia decides Magpie is aight.

Of course Wrathia would tell her whole speil to Ava, who would do the same to Magpie.

"Defeat Titan? She's crazy, how could I even begin to do something like that?!"

"You won't be alone. I'll help you, and maybe so would my big brother Odin! He's a vessel too!"

Of course Magpie would then tell Ava bout Aedinfell and how Magdalai ran away from her kingdom (and gush about her nice brother Odin)

Itd probably end with Ava and Magpie agreeing to help fulfil each other's pact on an epic space adventure with two semi-inhinged tween girls.

The way her portrait looks like a literal portrait and the fact that she's possessed makes quite clear that she's a major character here. (At least in Odin's eyes maybe.
