This is ~Mageki - Birth of the Maou~,  the complete, uncut/unedited, version from the DVD release.

This is the second release for the youtube channel, hooray! Eventually I’ll post the third one as well, but that’ll take time. I’ll continue with the upload of every song per separate of the two musicals that are posted right now, and we’ll see how this progress to start posting the drama cds as well.

Warning about the current KKM Musical english version online

I have to point out something important about the current online version of the second maomyu (musical) with english subtitles on youtube, the one I shared in a post earlier today but now I decided to take down. This is currently the only version available online of the musical. This video is EDITED and several scenes were CUT.

Or the close up of Conrart dancing some lovely moves with Josak...

Or Yuuri slowly taking Wolf’s hand inside the closet and apologizing, followed by a long chat (one of the longest cuts I suppose)...

And I don’t know what else is missing because I didn’t continue watching.The cuts are noticeable and you’ll see them, the missing scenes feature certain pairings or characters.

The current subtitled musical is incomplete and since I strongly disagree the only version out there is like that, we decided to work with some translators and use our own RAWs of the DVDs to make a full version. We’ll do all of them, because I don’t know if the first musical is edited too (it’s done by the same person) and I don’t own a copy to compare it. 

We’ll start working on the second musical now because it’s the only DVD I own, but eventually we’ll release the others, as soon as I get the rest of the RAWs. 

We want to provide complete material, I’ll try to double check what I share from now on.

Hi~ thank you so much for always providing me with a lot of KKM stuff ^^ I want to ask, Is KKM novels already over in Japan? And I see in your post there are musical drama? when was that and do you know where I can watch it? thank you~~

Hello, you’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoy the material.

The novel never ended in japan, it’s on hiatus since a lot of years, the last volume published was 17. The autor started being a little more active recently but there’s no new of a continuation yet. Let’s hope for the best.

Yes, there are musicals, we call them maomyu or mageki. They did 3 of them, the last one was at the end of last year. They sell DVDs with the whole play on video if you’re interested, you can get the first one here and the second one here, the third one is a preorder that’ll be released on February if they don’t change the date. If you want to watch the first musical for free, it’s subbed in english in youtube by a fan. About the second and third one, I did a livestream of the second one when I got my DVD, and I’ll do one for the 3rd musical as well when I got the DVD; I’ll post news about that when the time comes.
