Magelo 2026
Anyone remembering Magelo (https://eq.magelo.com/)? It's a old webservice that lets you read your game data (character stats, spells/skills you have, items you own and such) and lets you manage your stuff outside of EverQuest. It does not break any Darkpaw/Daybreak rules and is not forbidden by them.
Anyway, I am still using this and was just looking at an old ranking screenshot of rogues on the Drinal server from 5 years ago compared to today:

There is a lot going on here:
People are not using Magelo any more. 2026 there are only 6 rogues left that play current content. The rest ist low level alts or bazaar mules.
This is not showing what's really going on in game on the Drinal server - but it is a sign. If so, this could lead to future server merges.
Mitsune is a group geared rogue but always at (or close to) max level. In 2021 Mitsune had 41% the AA, 54% the HP, 60% the AC, 66% the ATK, 65% the BS DMG (Backstab Damage) of the raid geared top rogue listed.
In 2026 Mitsune has 75% the AA, 66% the HP, 72% the AC, 69% the ATK, 72% the BS DMG of the raid geared top rogue listed. Now I do think the additional AA (they added auto grant for older expansions) made a difference but it also feels like the group vs. raid gap has been shinking with the last expansions.
Mitune being listed with better stats than raiding rogues from serious guilds is ridiculous and can only mean those rogues stopped playing in the last expansions!?
But maybe it is just a rogue problem? Nobody likes to play rogues any more. It's just a backstabber bubble.
This is the combined ranking of all classes on the Drinal server May 2026. Mitsune is on 24th place 🤦
