Recently i came up with the series of how different mages use their magic, and i finally released it in the drawings! Thats so fascinating for me that except mages having a lot of different specialties, they also most definetely have their own unique combat styles, depending of how they were maybe self-taught, or taught in circle, or amoung the dalish, and so on.

In Derota's case, her style is very neat and firm, she always knows how to draw the most energy from the Fade. With ages she becomes more and more confident (and also strong), which shows in her perfect posture and her movements being absolutely accurate, without any useless moves.

This all grew this way because of her being a blood mage, and this means every unthoughtful and unconfident move will cost her useless blood loose. Also, she is not completely self-taught and Hawke uses the basics from what her father taught her, and his style was also similiar to Derota's.

Been seeing a whole lot of Destiel takes on my dash, as one might imagine. A peculiar one that keeps cropping up is how we don't really KNOW Cas's declaration was romantic. I could not be. And therefore they weren't clear enough. The only non-clumsy way I could imagine doing that would be changing "I love you" to "I'm in love with you" but would that have been better?

Did you enjoy it? I did. It was cathartic. I think that’s the important thing.

Honestly, Castiel could have ripped all his clothes off and demanded Dean take him over the hood of the Impala and there’d still be some people who’d argue it was ambiguous.

Homophobes be like that. Nothing will ever be good enough, and there will always be some reason it doesn’t count if they really don’t want gay cooties all over their fave.

The love confession was fine, and Misha did a good job of it. If it had been a man saying it to a woman or vice versa, no-one would think it ambiguous. What would have been better is if they’d had the gumption to do it before the final season and then explored some of the implications. But writing an I love you to make it acceptable to homophobes is a fool’s errand. It would never be good enough for them.

He’s been walking for hours, dry grass and blackberry bushes eventually giving way to trees and then a stretch of two-lane blacktop, a wire fence flanking the opposite side. The phone booth is the only source of light–even the moon is shrouded, obscured by the clouds that rolled in with dusk.

But the phone is almost glowing; a beacon to guide him home.

Standing before it, Castiel is overwhelmed again by the sheer joy of being alive. 

Everything is whole and solid and real. The coins he unearths from beneath rotting leaves; the sickly-sweet peppermint tang of discarded chewing gum pressed by long-gone fingers into the underside of the booth. It’s all real. He’s real. Alive.

Muscle memory directs him, moving his finger from number to number before he’s even had a moment to wonder if it’s the right one.

It seems an eternity passes while he waits for an answer. The receiver warms against his ear. Within his chest, his heart pounds and pounds and pounds, each ring in his ear echoing down through his bones, a melody to match the rhythm until at last–

The ringing stops.

“Yeah?”

Dean’s voice is raw. Exhausted, despite the early hour. There’s a hint of something dangerous in it, like he’s just looking for a reason to take the barbs in his throat and turn them outward, but the fact remains that it’s his voice. His voice. He’s alive, and Castiel hadn’t realized how afraid he was that he might not be until this moment.

But he’s alive, and Castiel is alive, and that puts him within reach.

There’s only one thing to say, really.

“Hello, Dean.”

Barely a second passes before the line goes dead.

"Doesn't have female feelings" like wtf does that even mean? What are female feelings? Was she supposed to whine about not having a baby?

I don’t even know. That OP was truly gone in self-delusion and racism. 

The terms “feminine” and “masculine” are so slippery to pin down when it comes to actually qualifying them in a meaningful way. And the definitions change from place to place, culture to culture, and decade to decade.

But if we want to go with the more stereotypical, Western idea of “femininity” we can.

Tessa Thompson had a whole scene where she slo-mo’d toward the camera swishing her hips like she was on a catwalk after a badass fight sequence but she had “no feminine gestures.” Okay.

Like Valkyrie is literally part of an elite, very specifically female warrior group. The movie has Thor actually talk at length about this fact. 

(In the scene OP said made Thor seem like a bumbling idiot but was actually the result of him meeting his real life childhood hero. Not his father, not his grandfather Bor, or even the Einherjar, Asgardian Army/Guards, but the Valkyrior. An elite team of female warriors. 

Little kid Thor Odinson wanted to grow up to be a Valkyrior but found out he couldn’t because they were all women and he ID’d as a man. Thor wasn’t tongue tied because Valkyrie was a woman and he’s suddenly a dork around women. He was tongue tied because he met someone he wanted to be when he grew up. He was fanboying an Asgardian celebrity. This was one of the more fantastic moments of feminism in this movie. How often do we get a hypermasculine, lead male character say their childhood hero was a woman, a group of women? I’ve never seen it until now. But I digress.)

Anyway that whole post is canceled.
