As a label owner, DJ, producer and performer, Cherriep has been keeping electro alive and prominent in his music, strongly influenced by Warp 9, Detroit In Effect, Drexciya, as well as the more ghetto sounds of DJ Assault or DJ Rashad. We’ve always had an admiration for producers whose sound pays respect to their influences and Cherriep is definitely on our radar, keeping it fly like in ‘You Wit It? ("we look good, we feel good, we got money, we got fame, let's go, let’s go!") The concept for this new release had its start in watching old episodes of “The New Dance Show”.
