Night 337 is my one of my favorite chapters of Magi. 

Spoilers below read more.

This is Judar’s “character development summary” chapter; we discover he’s satisfied with his life, despite the cards dealt to him. I based this photoshoot on his longing and envy. Up until Hakuryuu, those were the powerful feelings that drove him.

Judar thinking about what his life could have been like without Althamen’s intervention. He imagines choosing Sinbad as his king!!! This is just too adorable! Oh how amazing that would have been… T^T

judar’s hate......... was basically erased because of how much fun he has with hakuryuu?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck my heart

(i mean ok, fine, so it was resolved so easily, but eh. final arc, i’m not really looking forward to having more than 7 weeks of this convincing sinbad thing, so i guess it’s good it was finished early?)

(also, judar punching gyokuen, you go girl)

(so judar choosing sinbad as a king was because it was a vision shown by aladdin who doesn’t know about hakuryuu at that point)

(judar equated being with hakuryuu with (1) not being envious of other magis anymore, (2) living a life that he wants, (3) living his life to the fullest)

ALSO JUDAR SAYING THAT PROVIDING ANSWERS THAT CAN CONVINCE A GOD IS HAKURYUU’S JOB

(oh wait, hakuryuu basically telling aladdin that he has to chill and trust judar)
