Magi speculation time!
Remember how Hakuryuu was able to escape Sinbad/David’s manipulation? According to him was due to falling into depravity in the past:
On the latest chapter (magi 262) it was also hinted that Kouen was also able to escape manipulation. So what if the reason behind it is that at the end of Kou Empire civil war arc he exchanged three limbs with Hakuryuu’s ones? (which were affected by his black rukh).
In the past, Hakuryuu was prevented from falling into Arba’s manipulation thanks to that exchange. Because Arba was able to manipulate only those who had compatible rukh with hers (aka her descendants) but Hakuryuu’s rukh was already mixed with Kouen’s.
So, if my theory is right not only Hakuryuu but also Kouen will have been benefited by the limbs exchange at some point.
I don’t know about you, but personally I find something poetic to the fact that those two men who once wanted to kill each other were the reason the other one was able to escape a serious manipulation.

About Magi 362
I have a little suspicion that it wasn’t Kouen the one to summon Phenex, but Hakuryuu, the same way Sinbad became able to use Zepar, Hakuryuu now have Kouen’s rukh in him, that could possibly make him capable to use Kouen’s djiins, but maybe i’m wrong, who knows.
