“The jungle,” Everly decides, carefully holding her expression.
“...the jungle.” Asher finishes weakly. He swallows, nervous, then his eyes narrow. “What did Landon tell you?”
“You promised.”
His mouth turns up at the corner, voice low and soft. “I did.”
