I finished the designs for the Magic Kat AU. I’ve been wanting to draw Husky and Angels as humans anyway.

Since Crym is only 13 she is still finding herself style wise and not as alt as her demon form is. She’ll get there eventually don’t worry.

Human AU where the Magic Kat was a bar and became a cafe after Husk became sober after he thrown into parenthood-

Husk finds a young, like 3 year old, Crymini and through some mess he ends up as her primary guardian for a bit because she throws a fit the second Husk is gone. A month into Crym being with him he makes a decision and stops drinking, he had a hard time obviously. He's quitting but he knows it's worth it. Crymini needs an adult in her live that isn't a total fuck up. With the help of Shizu, the oldest Huskette and only one from the bar staff that stayed around, and his parents he manages to quit for Crymini.

The staff of the Magic Kat Cafe are the Huskettes while the old bar staff quit at this point except Shizu. She and Husk are co-owners of the cafe now while Husk owned the bar by himself. They're besties and Shizu helps Husk with parenting advice, she has a few kids.

The patrons actually stay the same for the most part. A lot of people came to the bar for Husk and the atmosphere he had created. It’s a different vibe it has a similar charm.

The older people love doting on the Huskettes.

The Huskettes are mostly High Schoolers and College kids working part time. Crymini is in middle school or smth.

The Magic Kat is now popular with all ages, they have their old customers, some cute old ladies that gossip and knit (Husk loves their gossip), some teens and college kids that want to study and even the occasional small family.

It wouldn’t be my AU if I didn’t include Huskerdust! So here is Angel! Angel started his career as a model and later grew to become an actor, he hasn't been in a movie in a while because he almost overdosed. He's working on getting back into acting after he went into rehab three years ago. Meanwhile he became a social media influencer. He does a lot for mental health awareness and educational work.

He randomly walks into the Magic Kat after having moved to the city a few weeks prior and is met with the hottest man he’s ever seen and he’s seen a lot of hot men. The man just gets hotter once he asks for Angels order - that voice alone is a turn on. And the coffee he makes? Someone get him this man’s phone number!

It’s a cute coffee shop AU with two old men (they’re like in their late 30s/early 40s-) instead of teens or smth.

Angel is already down for Husk when he mets Crymini and Angel just panics because he thinks he fell for a married man - Angel panics for a while but keeps coming in until it’s Pride Month and one of the Huskettes forces Husk to wear a pride pin with the pan flag and tells him to finally find Crymini a second parent. Suddenly Angel really likes the idea of being a parent.

All jokes aside, Angel and Crymini genuinely bond way before Husk and Angel get together. She likes him more than most people that flirt with her dad. She hates most people that do. Angel gets pass because he brings her snacks.

Husk owns the building the cafe is in. It has two apartments, Husk and Crymini live in one while Husks parents live in the other. Angel eventually meets Husks parents and he blurts out that they're pretty. It's no wonder Husk is as handsome as he is. Angel is embarrassed, Husks parents love this guy already.

Molly comes in eventually and she loves Crymini to bits. She actually drags Arackniss along once to meet Husk and Crym and everyone is convinced Crym is a witch because she somehow became Arackniss favorite person. (He's had Crymini for a day and a half but if anything happened to her he'll kill everyone in this room and then himself.)

The holidays are going to be fun.

MAGIC KAT CAFÉ

Before Angel went into rehab he was mainly an actor and dressed very differently. He wore a lot of makeup to a point you couldn’t even see his freckles. His clothes were even more revealing than nowadays and he would never be spotted in anything other than designer. He seemed like the kind of rich person that doesn’t know how real people live.

After Angel was clean he still acts here and there but his career took a hit after he overdosed. While in rehab he stopped wearing as much makeup, you can see his freckles all the time now, and while he still dresses in revealing clothes it looks much more comfortable. He doesn’t wear as much designer and he looks more down to earth. Despite his kind of ruined acting career he gains more popularity online, becoming an influencer instead.

People love his personality and the stories he shares. Angel talks a lot about his experiences and does a lot of educational work nowadays. If his videos can help even one person not end up like him it will be worth it.

As his career gets better he gets hired for more acting gigs again but thanks to social media deals and everything he has much more say in what he acts in. He can really chose in what he plays and who he works with. He can fully avoid Val thanks to that. Angel finally is in a place he feels truly happy and then for the cherry on top he meets the most handsome barista with a menace of a daughter.
