Yes, when in doubt both. But the dilemma wasn’t over the books, it was over whether to spend time with my father and get abused in exchange for new books or not be abused face to face and get new books. Clearly, I chose the abuse. Tolkien is worth it. 

I mean, if the dilemma had been the books I definitely would have gotten both, ‘cause as much as I want all the Tolkien I can get, my library has zero Lovecraft in it despite my love for his works.

Alright, so here I've been sitting, hungry as hell for no apparent reason. I had a plate of chicken potstickers and a peanut butter sandwich, and I was still hungry. An hour later, stomach still nagging me, I make a pack of Top Ramen, and it instantly satiates me. Somebody tell me how this works.
