Okay, I just finished watching the finale.
And…
WHAT. THE. FUCK. WAS. THAT.
This may be a hot take, but it felt so predictable that halfway through I wanted to just skip to the ending.
Three things are going through my head right now.
ONE: They should’ve left it at S1 if that was always gonna be the ending (rushed through and all), bc that was just shit.
TWO: Maybe they could a spin off series that shows Az and Crowley throughout the ages, but I think we all know that wouldn’t salvage the ending.
THREE: I know this is gonna sound a little blunt, but I am so grateful that I took a step back away from the fandom and the show for a good while, it was getting to be toxic, and while I know it happens to every fandom, it was just too much for me and I needed a break.
I know the fandom already has mixed opinions on the finale, but my personal opinion is that we should’ve gotten the finale we wanted, not what we got.
And I know that there was love put into it and the people who worked on the finale tried their best to make it the one we deserved, and I want to thank them for that.
I want to also say a big ✨FUCK YOU✨ to Amazon for chopping it down to only a rushed 90 minutes.
