a hundred and seventy-five years after rappaport’s no-fraternization law went into effect, witches and wizards were able to live freely again among the no-majes. with the disbandment came the need of a new way of living for the wizarding community. bam university was established under the ideals of a better integration into the no-maj society for continuing students of magic who wanted to upkeep this harmonious behavior.
a level of secrecy is still needed to remain intact with the communities merging, but the university was created to help such an integration. the five founding members each taking an area of importance to teach their fellow wizards how to be seen without being seen, and how to live a more fulfilling life with a form of balance created in which a witch or wizard could be themselves in a non-magical society. —welcome to bartholomew’s university.
