this bit's about ghosts!! wowowow

so basically: ghosts can take many forms in my fucked up little world. so far, you've been able to see about... three, i believe. (technically four but i can't count)

-> Ghost 1: The Phantom Soldier this guy's a fire phantom, basically a walking pyre of flames that was given life. i can't say what the average fire phantom's behaviours or preferred hunting zones could be/are, due to only one of them being known at this time. which sucks for lore, but. also. i am laze. so anyway

-> Ghost 2: The Reaper (and a quick explanation to how souls work) also known as the grim reaper. they walk the earth when they need to obtain another soul. some souls are not as fortunate as others are, so some are lost to the earth, bound to it for a further 50 years beyond their living, physical life. then they get to ascend to heaven, or they're sent to limbo, or sent down to hell. that is what it is.

-> Ghost 3: The Transmitter Souls you may recognize a certain. term. here. in this usage of 'transmitter', it's like radio transmissions, but in the form of souls. one very good example of this happening involves rocketjumper's apparition from the recent non?-canon post "Pain in the Alps". basically, transmitter souls are souls who get an opportunity to speak to the beings they were closest to before their demise. the transmission time that a soul gains gets is 7 days. ,,,yes, rocketjumper really waited like 7 days just to see her husband again. girl's committed what can i say.

also: -> Ghost 4 (previously mentioned): The Walking Souls walking souls are the souls who "get" to walk the earth for 50 years before they go to whatever afterlife they're destined to ascend/descend/"head out" to. you may... wait. can i say that right now? ... yeah, okay, i forgot if i posted something that had a walking soul in it. i did. so remember that non-canon post where patchwork was trying to build a time travel raygun and saw footmuncher's ghost? yeah footmuncher's a walking soul in that one. he gets to pop in here and there. so that's swag.

since i have too many drafts: bonecrusher lore. very quick

in non-lore-language: if a roleplay blog attempts to send an ask tempting a possible roleplay scenario, they will be (quite rudely) ignored, maybe even get their ask deleted. in lore language: if a stranger shows up to the base and bonecrusher isn't in the mood to go on some sort of adventure with them, he'll (quite rudely) shut the bunker door in their face, even locking it out on some. idk i think it's funny

GR: [grumbling] for fucks sake. if i had to guess, at least they're not being loud this time.

BB: ...mm. damned no nut november. i really want to join them, the bloody lovebirds.

GR: you know it's not a life requirement to complete nnn, right? you could just go knock on the door, ask to join. miss this human going fucking mental.

BB: ...he's really funny though, isn't he?

GR: i'm glad we found this guy's show. he is really funny.
