acknowledgement arrives on turn of head, twist
of form as eyes ever vivid take in the other in
such polite detachment so barely concealing
the curiosity that has lips parting 'fore she even
seeks to speak & hands have stilled in task
performed absentmindedly, motions gone
through so frequently that little mind is needed
to be paid.
David looked to Rory a little stunned. Admittedly he’d thought about it, pretty much since the minute that they’d met but he couldn’t process that Rory thought about it too. He took a second and looked into the smaller boys eyes “Y-you sure?” he said softly “Cos I want too, just… wanna be sure you want too”
IN A UNIVERSE WHERE EVERYONE IS BORN WITH NUMBERS ON THEIR WRISTS COUNTING DOWN TO WHEN THEY’LL MEET THEIR SOULMATE, SEND ME 00:00:00 FOR MY MUSES REACTION TO THEIR NUMBERS HITTING ZERO WHEN THEY MEET YOURS.
The clock on his arm had for as long as he could remember looked like a dead clock. The day it changed was when he got his acceptance letters from colleges around the US. He didn’t think much of it, because the clock was ticking down on months. Something he didn’t care about. He was too busy concentrating on finishing high school and getting a scholarship for track or lacrosse so he could afford college. He had conducted a lot of research, and when he finally picked which college he wanted to go to, it was Columbia University in New York. They had lacrosse and his scholarship would be enough to allow him to go there.

It wasn’t until he was finishing packing up the last of his things that he realized that his clock was still counting down. It had gotten down to hours, and it was around four days, in hours, which was left until he met his so called soul mate. He didn’t exactly believe in the whole soul mate thing, because he had seen how miserable his parents had been, and he’d seen how miserable Lydia had been with Jackson. It had caused Isaac to loose faith in the whole soul mate system they had all been born into. With a roll of his eyes, he tossed the last of his clothes into a box. He was moving, because he’d managed to get a room in the dorms, which was a lot cheaper than living off campus. It also meant that he got to move a couple of days before the semester actually started, something that made it easier on him to actually get settled. He was getting help from Derek, Scott and Stiles to move, something he was actually happy about, because it meant he wouldn’t have to drive all the way on his own.

He was in the middle of unpacking his boxes when his phone rang, and he looked who it was calling. It was Scott, for the millionth time that day. He just turned his phone off instead of answering. He wasn’t in the mood to talk, he wanted to finish unpacking, and run some errands before he needed to get to registration the following day.
43:52:10
He was heading back to his dorm after spending all day touring the campus with other people as well, and he’d done his registration as well. As he got into bed, he idly noted that it was less than two days until he would be meeting up with his soul mate, whoever they were. As he laid in the bed, trying to sleep, he couldn’t stop thinking about his clock, ticking down further and further, second by second.
35:32:18
When he finally rolled out of bed, he got ready for the day, and avoided his room mate as best as possible, mostly because he really didn’t like his room mate.

He was sitting through his lecture, and it was mindblowingly dull, and just wished for it to end already. He wanted to go and do more exploring of the city. He hadn’t really had much time for it in the past few days. It was why, as soon as the lecture was over, he was up and out of his seat faster than anyone.
03:11:45
He had taken the subway to explore more of New York, and when he got off, he was completely lost. However, for once, he didn’t care one bit about it. Isaac was just off exploring, walking around, seeing the surroundings.
01:58:02
When he was starting to get hungry, he made his way back to the subway, because he figured it’d be easier to find a place where he could eat if he was closer to the station. To Isaac it made perfect sense that there would be more coffee shops and restaurants closer to the subway station.
00:10:15
It took him almost two hours to find his way back to the subway station, and when he found it, he glanced around and caught his clock in the reflection of the window. It had reached ten minutes. He was surprised by himself when he realized that he was actually nervous and excited at the same time. As he thought about it, he headed into a coffee shop he’d manage to locate, and went to stand in line.
00:05:10
As he was standing in line, he was thinking about what to order, and came to the conclusion that he would go with a caramel latte, and a cookie. He didn't care that it was unhealthy, because with the amount of miles he'd walked so far, he didn't need to worry. Not that he needed to worry in general about his weight, being a werewolf helped him keep in shape.
00:01:05
Once he had ordered his things, he had to wait for the coffee. The cookies, he got straight away. He'd ended up taking two. One chocolate chip, and one chocolate with chocolate chips. Since he was so focused on his treat, he didn't realize that his clock had ticked down to just a minute, and that it was continuing to tick down.

Just as he sat down at a table, there was a weird bell sound, and what he didn't realize was that it was the clock on his wrist. It had reached zero. The sound continued, and it made Isaac look around, and when he looked to his side, a man was standing right next to him. He looked up at him and that's when he saw the surprised look on the other's face. It made him frown, until he saw the guy's wrist. Six zeros, was what he saw, and it made him look down at his own wrist, his clock was also down to six zeros.
"Hello─" he said sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck a little.
David turned a little to look at Rory and chuckled “Really?” he shook his ass a little “Enjoy it as much as you want Ror” he was blushing but it was impossible not to find Rory perving on him to be a mix of hot and cute.
Blaine always managed to run into people he never expected to, but he couldn't think of anyone more startling to see than Rory rounding the corner onto 51st Avenue. He almost didn't say anything, trying to get his mouth to work properly. "Rory?" he finally managed, reaching out to grab Rory's arm. "I thought you went back to Ireland!"
