Morning #witches, My #witchywednesday is a little more “real” than magic today. As I watched this “broken” #swallowtailbutterfly struggle to fly, struggle to land and struggle to climb up the flower petal to get to the nectar, I realized, that we all struggle. Regardless of injury or illness, we are all still able to contribute something! I’m going to share my method of bringing myself out of a funk and practice some #gratefullness in the process. So one of the things that helps me when #depressionstrikes actually starts before depression strikes; when you’re in a good head space, think about things your good at (i.e. good listener, make the best coffee, can draw stickmen like no other, etc..) when your bummed out or in a bad head place, remember the “thing” on your list and then proceed to pump yourself up; tell yourself things like “I’m the best goddamn stick man drawer there ever was” or “nobody can love my kids like I do” and keep telling them to yourself over and over again until the fog lifts. Everybody has at least one positive thing that they can grab on to for dear life; don’t let go!!!!! If you’re struggling to come up with something, as someone who knows you. Sure thing Kailin! Generally speaking, when you come to a diviner for a reading you either ask an open-ended question (no yes/no!) or ask for a general reading like you just did. It’s fairly simple in my experience!

You got a past card, a present card, a future card and a jumper. 

Your past card is the Four of Pentacles. In the past, you may have been something of a “control freak” and resistant to change. It can be hard to accept that change is a natural part of life that we can’t stop, but you seem to have moved on from your more controlling ways. 

Your present card is the Father of Cups. This could either signify a new person in your life or a new element in your life. This person is calm, understanding, and full of wisdom. Likewise, you may be in a point in your life where you are accepting something or talking a calm, steady course of action.

Your future card is the Four of Swords. This is a card of stillness, reflection, and taking breaks. You may find that you will come to a point where you’re simply going too fast or too hard and need to take a break, or you could have some kind of sickness-not a life-threatening one, just one that requires you to take a break. In this break, be sure to contemplate your surroundings and situation, and try to learn from it if you can. 

Your jumper is the Nine of Cups. This card signifies satisfaction. Maybe, after a long period of hard work, you may soon be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Or maybe you’ll find a simple pleasure soon by connecting with nature or doing some of your favorite activities. Look out for the little and big happinesses in life alike.
