🗒 — what is/are your favorite genre(s)/theme(s) to write (✦) - @magic-clown

OOC: I really enjoy writing my ships and I'm tired to pretend I don't. I really don't get the taboo around enjoying shipping. I don't like to use the word hyperfocus because I don't know if that applies to me, but I tend to get overly attached and obsessed with my otps in whatever fandom I'm hyped about at the moment, so I want to look through art (I can't draw so), read, write, cosplay them, so yeah, I do enjoy writing my ships. But other than that, I really enjoy writing angst. I absolutely suck at writing fluff/soft threads, you'll notice that they feel superficial and bland compared to my writing angst. I only know how to write suffering, apparently lol

Higuchi probably knew most of those faces, if not all. Even if she could not remember the names of everyone, she's seen them at least once, since they all belonged to the same organization. Port Mafia had way too many members for her to remember them all with details, but now that she had the time to observe, already almost empty glass of wine in her hand, they all really did look like they belonged to the Port Mafia. There was something about the mafiosi that, for trained eyes, would not be hard to discern. That was probably how she had been found out by Dazai before. But she had been so used to that that it took her a while to realize it.

She turned the liquid in her glass, hesitating about finishing her drink. Being known as not holding her liquor very well, it was natural that she would feel reluctant. The room filled with mafiosi would not make for a great audience if the alcohol decided to speak louder than her. But one glass would not be a problem, she finally decided as she finished the wine. However, as the glass stopped obstructing her vision, she realized someone was watching her. Higuchi should've noticed first that he did not look like the rest and that he clearly did not belong to that party. And it was not as if she didn't, but she got caught in wondering why he was looking at her of all people and could avoid but to feel her face hot, making her question if that was already the effect of the wine or something else.

He was cute, but she didn't know him well enough, she mused. Perhaps, if he had any way to help her family, she wondered, she wouldn't mind. "Maybe."
