Nobody brought the house down like The J.Geils Band out of the Boston area. Hot rockin blues fronted by Peter Wolf and the legendary Magic Dick on the lickin stick (harmonica)  I saw em in 72 at the San Diego Sports area, still one of the best concerts I have ever seen.  J.Geils, the founder, died in 2017..

Badass dudes. My favorite band from ‘73-75 -J. Geils!! Peter Wolf is still # killin’ it out there (I played & sang on his solo album, Fool’s Parade in ‘99). Yeah like the time they sold out #pineknob multiple nights and came to play our beloved #bookiesclub870 thanks to our wonder Detroit Boy #jackashton hanging with Peter Wolf was an awesome time . This band knew the #detroitbreakdown and the party they brought was as good as the album cover! I remember handing out fliers for their unannounced show for #jimmyandthejukejoints and their fans throwing them to the ground saying “ I ain’t going to that punk rock club” not knowing it was their fave band! This studio album feels live and contains their hit #lookingforalove and their classic #itaintwhatyoudoitshowyoudoit love this guys as Detroit was their 2nd home Enjoy!
