“Adriatic” a small work on canvas that I was due to take out to the house on Hvar. Passport mishaps meant we had a staycation instead. Last night I had planned a swish round at mine which was postponed due to being the house of sickness. :( I did a really cool process with @freya.love.your.life.coach yesterday. It’s called Core Processes. And through conversations about what was going on when you are at your best, you get to understand what it is you are always doing. It was fascinating. I learned that I’m a bit of a risk taker. Almost a gambler (not quite) but my best moments are when the risk pays off. It’s how I paint and pretty much how I live. Or at least, it is when I’m happiest. So despite being disappointed by these recent things that didn’t happen. And believe me I was gutted about the holiday. There’s an element of needing to accept the times when things don’t go quite as I expect. I mean, I’m the one telling folk in my art sessions that, “there are no mistakes”. Always try. Always aim for the stars. It won’t always pan out the way you want but, on the whole, it does. And some. And then it’s MAGICAL. And magical ROCKS. Am always going to be on an adventure, dreams and wishes in my pocket, looking for the magic. And it always works out in the end. I will get to Croatia again. And the swish will happen.
