Quick question amd I don't even know if you can answer it because I guess its a personal opinion but is it ok to celebrate the different yearly sabbats or holidays even if you aren't pagan or wiccan?

Okay so i don’t know for the other mums but i’m not wiccan or pagan but i celebrate them. But since i’m not a part of those religion, i don’t call them sabbat or anything. I just say that i’m celebrating summer or whatever seasons, and i’m not doing rituals or anything that involves wiccan or pagan religion. I pray my gods, i leave offerings, i maybe do some spells that i find interesting to do that day, but that’s all. I think you can celebrate them but without appropriate the wiccan/pagan culture, you need to be creative on that point hehe

i do celebrate them but not all. ever since i started practicing i’ve gotten used to celebrating beltane and samhain every year (alongside all the greek holidays) even though i’m hellenic. it’s sort of become a tradition i guess ! so, my answer would be to celebrate whatever you want, but like peach said, be careful to not appropriate anything and be mindful of why you’re celebrating.
