I’ve been a fan of the planetary spreads that Michi has been posting on Tumblr, so when I got the chance to buy a reading by them using one of their spreads, I eagerly did so! I picked the “Moon Spread” because I feel as though some good self-reflection was what I needed. And Michi did not disappoint!
My minor complaint is the order is an “automatic download”, which gives you a PDF of “What to Expect” and “Code of Ethics” (which are also included on the listing.) I prefer that an order is “shipped” for clarity purposes. But overall, this disagreement on how to structure an Etsy listing is overshadowed by the quality of the reading.
Michi structured their PDF to me with a picture of my reading, a card-by-card analysis, and then an overview of the entire reading. The PDF itself was very simple, but that’s fine by me. I do not need my readings to have a bunch of bells and whistles on it. What counts to me is the content: and Michi had some good insights.
Michi mentioned how my cards “jumped” out of their hand as they shuffled, which is a fascinating detail! They went into explain the significance that jumpers had for them too. Then, the card-by-card analysis was very to the point and resonated with me. The overview section included any patterns they noticed, cards that were notably absent, and the take-away message. It overall was very to the point, which I like, while still addressing the questions the spread asked. Michi did a good job of giving each card individual attention, while also linking it to the other cards in the spread. I will admit, this particular reading experience didn’t tell me anything new, but getting confirmation for what I already knew is also very reassuring and worthwhile in my opinion.
Also worth noting that the communications me and Michi had about my reading were very professional and pleasant. (Michi’s initial email with the PDF attached went to my Spam Folder so I had trouble finding it!) I appreciate Michi’s transparency, too, in regards to their process and their code of ethics.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with Michi! Will definitely be returning again when I need further insights. And I look forward to seeing how their shop grows!
