Marvin’s Birthday!!!
Hi everyone!!! Hope y’all are doing alright!
As we all know, Marvin’s birthday is tomorrow! He is finally turning 2, can y’all believe it? Our magical boy is growing up so fast!
Anyways, I’ll keep this short. Tomorrow we’ll just go around the tags as much as possible to reblog as many birthday posts as possible in his honour! Y’all can also send us asks or tags us in your posts, if you want of course!!!
So far there’s no clue if Jack is planning on posting anything related to our boy Marvin, which I don’t really know if I want it to happen since I don’t Jack at all lmao. But let’s make his second birthday a good one tomorrow!!!

Important Announcement and Clarifications!
Hi to anyone and everyone that is reading this! This is the admin of the Marvin blog here, Signas! I just wanted to clarify the topic of the lack of activity in the blog for a long time, my disappearance, and a big (is it? Idk lmao) announcement. Also please read the last part of the post where there is an asterisk (*) because it's important I get feedback on this ;;!
So first of all, I apologize fully for the sudden stop of activity in the blog for a long time. I'm very thankful that Mod Shimmer managed to at least queue up a few last posts. They have a life outside of this blog and managing to do that is deserving of many thanks. Anyways, the blog stop because we all got busy, I can't speak for all the mods, but it might be the one of the biggest reasons. As for my unannounced disappearance, long story short, college got me really hard. Even since the beginning of the second semester. I was overwhelmed ever since I left my country back to college. I’m not going to bore anyone with more details, but things got tough in many aspects so I had to leave many social medias till I finished my first year.
I am very grateful for the summer break to recharge and get a hold of myself, so it gave me time to think. Of course about this blog. And for those that follow me on my main blog, thank you for the support and feedback on this. I gave it a lot of thought since it was always in the back of my mind and never stopped bothering me. I wanted to restart the blog, ya know, give it another try. Also I want to thank the mods (my lovely friends) from the blog for the support in wanting to give the blog another go too.
Now here's the thing, the secondary reason of why I couldn’t also come back to Tumblr was because I felt all burned out it. I don’t want this to happen again to me or anyone helping me run the blog. So the blog will run at a “not specific” pace, meaning that there’s no need for rush or priorities for things. This blog should be fun to run, something to be at peace with. So there might be days with no activity (if it ever happens), little activity, or a lot. Who knows! Maybe activity will be just queued up posts because we are busy. I hope this is all fine with everyone ;;!
As for the big announcement, it was said in the previous paragraph, the blog will be restarting again! Now, a bit of a quick and extra announcement from me. Since I couldn't watch YouTube due to college stuff and I wasn't in Tumblr for a long while, I have missed out on the JSE Ego plot. I have been briefed shortly by a friend and I have tried my best to do my research, but I still lack sense of what's going on. So if I don’t get anything, please bear with me :’0! *Another small announcement, that is a bit quite late, but still relevant! If I remember correctly, Marvin’s birthday is coming up on the 11th. So I thought, a good way to kick up the restart of the blog was celebrating his birthday! If this seems like a good idea, please let us know so that we can organize something really quick and spread it around!

Marvin: Can you believe one of Jack’s fans made this?? They’re all such a talented bunch, I swear! I’m so glad I finally have a mask that goes with this show outfit! I hope it looks okay, though. Does it look okay on me? Be honest.

So I’m pretty sure I missed like a ton of details on that awesome new mask @therealjacksepticeye got from one of the fans during his tour, but I did the best I could!! Making the mask all sparkly was so much fun, and it was interesting working with a different color palette for Marvin’s outfit! Marvin’s rocking those high-waisted pants like a pro, and Jackie is very very aware of it~ >;3c

Marvin the Magnificent in "Sorcerer's Struggle!"
(N.I.N.A.)
Intro: Cuphead and Marvin are both standing on a platform in Marvin’s warehouse where he stores all his equipment for his shows. Marvin takes a bow before hopping off of the platform and growing in size until he towers over everything and is hovering behind the platform. (similar to Beppi in his second stage) He’s wearing a red tux, black cape, and his iconic cat mask. He pulls out a wand, and the fight begins.
Stage 1
Attacks:
Shoots fire from his wand and makes it sweep across the platform until a certain point near the edge.
Energy orbs rain from the sky. Some can be parried.
Shoots any of 3 types of beams at Cuphead. Hard to dodge. Cause status effects.
Beam 1: shortens the distance of Cuphead’s dash.
Beam 2: makes your controls slippery, like you’re on ice.
Beam 3: makes it impossible to control Cuphead while he’s midair.
Death quote: “Step right up, ladies and gents, and see the great Cup duo get their heads smashed!!”
Transition: Marvin’s wand breaks. He seems annoyed, and throws it away. He gets out a shawl and puts it on, then pulls a glass ball out of nowhere. He looks like a fortune teller. He begins intently staring into the glass ball.
Stage 2
Attacks:
Energy wisps begin shooting out of the glass ball in many directions.
He shoots lighnting out of his index finger while it tracks Cuphead’s position. Hand stops moving when lightning is fired.
If he senses you dodging his attacks in the same way over and over, he will switch up his attack pattern. This is him “seeing into the future.”
Death quote: “The spirits tell me you’re due for an ER visit.”
Transition: Marvin gets so frustrated that he throws the glass ball onto the ground, shattering it. He takes off his mask, and turns it into ethereal purple energy. He then absorbed it into his body. He curls up, apparently in pain, and throws the shawl onto the camera, obscuring your vision. When the shawl Dallas off of the camera, it is revealed that Marvin had turned into a giant anthropomorphic white cat. His fur is tangled and uncombed, and looks kind of like the Devil’s fur. His arms are also as long and lanky as the Devil’s arms. Patches of gray fur on his chest are in the shape of the 4 car suits, in the same positions as they were on his mask.
Stage 3
Attacks:
He sinks one of his paws into the platform. An orange glowing circle appears on the ground, before one of his Claws juts out in that spot. Happens three times before he pulls his paw out.
Ghostly white cats run across the platform. Some are pink and can be parried.
He couches like a cat ready to pounce, then leaps out onto the platform, attempting to crush Cuphead. He then jumps off the platform again, back to his original position.
Death quote: “That’s it. I’m done playing cat and mouse.”
End-boss animation: he reels back, before he mewls like a kitten and starts locking his paw and fur like he’s injured while crying at the same time.
