Why do you hate Return of Jafar?
There are a few reasons why I do. The main being the animation. I mean as far as sequels go, the animation is never as up to par as the originals (with the exception of The Rescuers Down Under, The Lion King sequels and The Little Mermaid sequels) but I just felt like they really didn’t try (and it goes the same with The King of Thieves, but that’s not the one on trial). Aladdin’s animation was beautiful and breathtaking; it’s sequels, not so much. The other flaw was the story line. Jafar’s reintroduction into Aladdin’s world by the way of that guy (whose name I don’t remember) felt strange to me. I know all of Disney’s movies usually have the comic relief, but that guy felt out of place in everything. They could have introduced another villain (a real villain) to work beside Jafar only to have Jafar turn on him in the end. Another reason is because of the fact that Robin Williams did not return as Genie (and I adore Robin Williams) and that Lea Solange did not provide Jasmine’s singing voice, but that last reason isn’t as bothersome as the other two.
Sorry for not responding right away, I was eating dinner. Thank you for asking, though. Have a magical day (or night, depending where you are) ^_^
