there’s a charming black cat

with eyes so amber and warm

and she’s not afraid of much

but she’ll run in out of a storm

and the myths all seems to go

that her crossing is bad luck

but dare you ever know her

she will leave you lovestruck

magic follows not far behind

and you’ll want her as a friend

she’s anything you’d ever want

she’s as dependable as the wind

—— as the moon lights up your sky

as all of your stars are aligned

you’ll keep her as your friend

as her magic followed not far behind
