Fast asleep in the large bed that had been provided for the large Saarebas, even his keen ears did not pick up on the door opening, the footsteps or the bed giving away from an added weight.

It wasn’t until a gentle hand was slowly shaking him and a familiar voice whispering his name, that Kata opened his eyes slowly, tired ruby red eyes gazing up into grey ones. “… Dorian..” he mumbled, voice a bit gruff from sleep, as a gentle smile formed on his lips and a deep sigh escaped his lungs.
