Seeming to trail about in circles in this forsaken woods and running a hand through his hair a bit, giving that quiet squawk when pulled out of his thoughts on how to get out of here. Blinking at the other as if wondering how in Brother's name they got here but then again he was barely paying attention to things when rolled up in his thoughts.

Thinking of shifting form was out of the question now and shaking his head at himself knowing his luck was at it again, "Yeah... just my luck I end up wandering through the woods like this, so much for taking shortcuts or whatever." sounding a bit down of that part of his luck and looking around with that puzzled look. Stiffening up at the mention of magic while inching away from the other when nervous of that, "U-Uhh... I don't know what you're talking about." really feeling it when seeming like he was under a careful microscope when stared at and whistling a bit, "Yep... bad luck strikes again, what's next...? Ugh..." the things he always seemed to get into and all it was something even now when thinking on it.

" and that was what interested her the most- / who / held such magic when to the rest of the world it was only a myth ?

          the corvid is obviously weary, carmine hues narrowed intently on the woman before him, stance guarded and decidedly tense. there aren’t many people in this world who know about things like magic that he isn’t aware of in turn, and for someone to recognize it in him just by looking… it’s unsettling, to say the least.

          “how… odd of you to notice,” he observes cautiously, lips pulling into a thoughtful frown, “you wanna tell me how you would know somethin’ like that?”

TEA  ORANGE  —  what is something that your muse is fascinated with ?

morbidly, he’s fascinated with death. crows have a huge association with death, and he’s no exception. he’s interested in what happens before, during, and after (i.e. what a person thinks about, how it happens, what the body does, if there’s an afterlife, etc). being in the branwen tribe didn’t help this, and in fact facilitated this. he began to question if people would suffer when they killed him, and that led him to questioning more than just his morals.

SANGUINE  —  does your muse typically have an optimistic, pessimistic, or some middle ground outlook on life ?

he thinks he has a cautiously optimistic view on life, but it’s pretty pessimistic. because of his semblance, he never believes anything will go right, and is only validated in his beliefs when it doesn’t. he is lacking in the hope department, and is constantly shown why that is. his views are changing the more he is with ruby however. seeing how even when things go wrong, she and her friends always have a way to make it right is helping him see that life isn’t all misfortune.

ACACIA  —  how much does it take for your muse to hate someone ?

oh boy, it’s... complicated. qrow is someone to hold grudges, but hate is a word he doesn’t throw around lightly. if he hates someone, that means he believes it’s impossible to forgive them. there are only three (fourish) people he hates in the world, and that’s ra/ven, oz/pin, and himself. he’s learning to forgive himself however, and may eventually learn to forgive the other two. it’s difficult for him to completely hate them as well given he loves them both, but there are somethings they did that he couldn’t forgive. tldr: it’s hard to get him to truly hate someone.
