Here I am, so actually, your recent cross posting between sonic and hsr, got me thinking. The most wild dream I had last night; and sonic was a Nameless.

The thing was that it wasn’t like an AU but like in a far future. Where sonic keeps on adventuring on the Express. No one of his old friends around, but he was at peace, I believe he would make a very good nameless.

Now, it was a wild dream which I don’t recall very well, but I recon that.

Omg that ACTUALLY sounds like something Sonic would absolutely adore. Sailing through space in a train, visiting planets to save them from Stellaron disasters (and bad guys taking advtanage of the disasters) and learning about/meeting new people along the way.

The state of Belobog especially seems like something up Sonic's alley; Since Belobog used to be a lush, green planet 700 years ago, but turned into a snowy wasteland.

Shadow comes home, really stressed from work.

Shadow sees Sonic in Werehog form, curled up on the couch with Silver.

Shadow decides that he needs Werehog cuddles to de-stress and just flops down onto Sonic

Instant de-stress, but he falls asleep on Sonic and now Sonic can't move because boyfriend sleepy

This has happened more than once. Shadow denies it every time, saying he was "so tired he didn't realize Sonic wasn't the couch". Nobody believes him. Especially since he stays in the cuddle pile the longest on rough days~

I'm in pain right now, and it's your fault. I'm reading Rose Drops, which is amazing, but I'm four chapters in and already on the verge of tears...

Anyways, I was wondering how you get inspiration for these fics? I love how you write and I just can't go without knowing the source of these wonderful ideas.

Lol sorry about that; honestly that's what I was hoping for though! Since that happens so early in the story, I wanted to show that that kind of thing happening isn't always 'the end' of a tale. It can lead to so much more.

As for inspiration....hm. Well, I've always been a storyteller; I used to make tons of comics in highschool and college, though I never showed them to anyone.

I can at the very least say that Rose Drops i wrote during a very difficult time in my life. I was homeless, couchsurfing, jobless, and my cat, who was my closest friend, died. there were so many things I was losing and leaving behind. Sonic has always been a comfort for me since I was a child, so I wrote a story about change and loss to cope with my own, and my hopes for a brighter future.

As for Blizzard Bedfellows, that one was a mix of talking to friends on Discord about Sonadow, and experimenting with the Boom universe for fun. Also i just really wanted to make a sonadow hibernation fic for the winter!

Equinox is sort of a mix of my fascination with vampires, werewolves, dark romance, blood and gore; stories I wrote a lot in highschool and are still fun. But I also thought Silver and Scourge would make an interesting dynamic and MAN do I enjoy writing them together. Equinox is a guilty pleasure in a way.

Lastly, Heavenly Bodies is from my Cardigan AU; where everyone is in their 30s-50s and just being cozy. I was inspired by Scragony's 'Vampire Husband' on webtoons. A comic about an immortal vampire and his elderly human wife. A very cute and cozy story. Sonic and Shadow kind of mimic that; an immortal hedgehog and his crunchy husband lol.

I have another idea mulling around in my head from a dream I had, which im tentatively calling Fractured AU. though nothing is concrete yet. Essentially Sonic Shadow and Silver go missing, and pieces of their personalities are copied and split and/or fused into sentient beings. Amy and the others try to find all the copies to solve the mystery of the hedgehog's disappearances.

And a Host Club AU that I made 2 years ago, thay is REALLY not put together beyond a rough draft lmao (it was originally a template for a Silver/Scourge fic, but I ended up going the Werehog route and made Equinox) the host club AU is technically centered around BlazeAmy, Sonilver, and Scourge/Vanilla, among other ships I like...but its so rough, man. I dont even talk about it because its not a full idea lol

In any case, im rambling, but I thought id that the opportunity to talk about all my ideas since you asked! It also gives a rough frame of things im working on for the future too. I hope you have fun reading Rose Drops! ^.^

Whos your favorite Sonic character? This can be a character from the games, the comics, tv shows, and any other Sonic related media! <3

While Sonic is my comfort character, Silver is my favorite character.

Surprisingly, I don't have a WHOLE lot of reasons as to why, I just think he's neat. Elias was my fave Archie character and I wrote like 4 paragraphs as to why lmao. Silver overall is my favorite but its actually for just a handful of reasons.

I like the fact that he has an incredibly thin line for killing someone, but I also appreciate the way his character has changed somewhat, to him being friendly and a bit naive/socially awkward. Characters that are cute and inviting but have a very sensitive kill switch is a classic juxtaposition I'm a big fan of when done right.

Also he's FLUFFY. look at him. Look at the boy. He's so floofy. See him face 🥺❤❤❤❤

I just started watching sailor moon so I wanted to ask, who's ur favorite character? :3

its actually a tie between Usagi and Haruka Tenou.

Usagi is such a sweet girl, and even better, she's what a teenaged girl is actually like! She's lazy, has a bottomless appetite, wants to play video games all day, wants to dress cute, thinks about boys, loves to read comics, etc. but I find her heart of gold and willingness to protect others is something to be admired. She's the type of person who will see a stranger on the street crying their eyes out and offer them comfort.

Haruka is...I don't think I like women (i dont think) but thtere are a handful of girl characters I have crush on and I've always had a huuugeeeee crush on her. She's cool, independent, strong, mysterious, and I love her relationship with Michiru (they're canonically lesbians~). I also think her being nonbinary (or genderfluid) is interesting too. She and Michiru are the outer Senshi and tend to have a more anti-hero approach to the things they have to do, which conflicts with Usagi and the others despite them all being on the same side.

Also she's really cool and drives fast cars and lives in a mansion with her hot gf and I wanna be in a cool and sexy relationship with her ;~;

What's your opinion on the Sonic movies?? :D

I love them! They're not exactly GOD TIER, but theyre fun and cute and I'm excited to see more of them. The personalities of the characters are perfect and I think Idris Elba nailed it for Knuckles as a character. Ben Schwartz isn't exactly my favorite voice for Sonic, but he's got the spirit and it works (He's also Dewey in the new Ducktales cartoon, and Movie Sonic and Dewey have the same personalities which i rhink is so funny) I have little nitpicks here and there about the story but overall its very nice. Im also excited to see how they handle Shadow. Well-- excited AND afraid. That's a lot to take on, and handling Shadow is a double edged sword, but Im choosing to have faith in the creators for the movie since I can tell they care a lot about what theyre doing.

Hey hey! I'm writing my second Sonadow fanfic and I just wanted to ask if you have any tips for writing fanfiction (Specifically Sonadow)! Like what should I keep in mind when writing them? <3

Me? Tips? Oh gosh wow uhhhhhmmmm let's see....honestly I write out of my ass and just want characters to kiss but im sure I can think of something useful...

Oh! I guess one thing I like to keep in mind when writing fanfics (and particularly Sonadow) is...when you're writing dialogue, imagine it in their voices! Thinking about the characters acting out what I write personally helps me keep the story feeling authentic in their words and actions. I love making indulgent stuff, but I also want the characters to feel like in character while theyre doing things, y'know?

Another thing, don't be afraid to start a story just because you haven't ironed out the details or planned the ending. Often the best thing to do is to just start writing and see where it takes you; even if you end up straying from what you originally planned to do (I do this constantly).

Another thing is, I'd say read your stuff often, even after you've posted it! It can help you if you're stuck or if you even just want to make some minor corrections. I often go back to old work, even Rose Drops, and make tiny corrections myself. Whatever I wrote yesterday might not sound as good today, after all.

(Id say having a beta reader/editor might be good in this regard. Ive never had one because im weird about people correcting my work, but I know having a second pair of eyes helps A LOT.)

Lastly, the final thing I can say is, don't get caught up worrying about if your story gets attention or not. This is something I'm still learning myself. Its hard, I know. But thinking about it can take all the fun out of writing really quick. Especially if you're already having issues staying motivated. Its always better just to focus on your story and having fun!
