Kouki gazed around in childish wonder as he looked at all of the slot machines and roulette boards in the Game Corner. It had been a long time since the young travel had been inside of a Game Corner of this caliber, so used to the card game played in Johto and the lack of a Game Corner in Unova. Not that Kouki really cared much about the Game Corners. He had never been a big fan of gambling, due to his bad luck. He was never good at games of chance, so he found much more enjoyment in watching other play the slots or roulette rather than playing himself.
As he walked down the aisle, he watched as a couple of people won money prizes ranging from small to large amounts. He even saw someone hit one of the many jackpots. It was really exciting to watch, seeing the people's faces as they jumped in excitement. To him, it was very similar to winning a Pokemon battle, or finding out a secret place that you didn't know about earlier.
Kouki turned the corner, heading towards the next aisle when he saw someone suddenly coming towards him. Gasping loudly, he quickly scrambled back, trying not to bump into the person in front of him. But in doing so, he ended up running into someone behind him. Eyes widening, Kouki gazed over his shoulder and watched as the person dropped the container of coins onto the floor, causing the scatter all across the floor.
Jumping forward, Kouki quickly bent over to help the person pick up their coins, dropping them back into the container. He glanced up at the person, silently apologizing to them. Since his board was currently in his backpack, he couldn't communicate with the person properly and apologize for his mistake.
