Around 00:34 to 00:42, the jump cut edit was so hilarious! you can see the SIZE DIFFERENCE between hikaru and magnus 😊 so delicious, so good! Hikaru is such a cutie while Magnus' big body is filling the frame screen. My head is spinning. My favorite trope is size difference... Also i like magnus's body built; his shirt is so tight--- i am so sorry i'm being inappropriate but GOD LOOK AT HIM!

Almost the entire time, let me bold it again, ALMOST; Hikaru is talking about Magnus's game with everyone while he was kinda setting aside his game first. Usually Hikaru would explained others' game then his game. Magnus' game usually took him quite sometimes to explain. He loves to yap, isn't he? I think in total he is the one who spent most time in the confessional booth! Almost 2hrs in total? (cmiiw).

Around 04:00 the camera is basically needs to tilt down to match hikaru's height and frame his beautiful face better (LOL); after Hikaru, they jumped cut to MAGNUS again, then need to tilt up and zoom again!

Then after this we have round 7 with Magkaru! I did a bit edit for this bcs I love them so much... I was waiting for Magnus' commentary (he spent quite times in the booth too!) about his game with Hikaru but hilariously the editor decided to put... STICKMAN MAGNUS SPEAKING NORWEGIAN. I WAS WAITING FOR HIKARU'S AND MAGNUS' YAP! i am laughing so much i had asthma.

Around 06:23 Hikaru solemnly said "prior to this game, i was told that apparently the confessional booth has been a very lonely place" AND THEN JUMPED CUT AGAIN to Magnus waddled in walked to the frame (LOL) as if telling us "yes, Hikaru, it's just you and Magnus filling up the space!"

Just for record... the editor put that time spent chart. I AM LAUGHING, the editor is loving banter between Magkaru so much! And also they were passionate about chess, they love yap, then not all GMs are chattery so we are actually blessed with Hikaru and Magnus trying to explain their games and thought process, wrapped with subtle chess jokes.

They do these Magkaru jump cuts as what i explained above multiple times and as i said, i have my suspicions... the editor could be into something. BUT! I'll just give them my biggest thank you bcs the amount of effort they put memes and jokes + Magkaru contents are enormous and i can laugh freely (after Danya's passing i still kinda bit weary) and understood GMs' personality a bit better. Thankyou so much for reading this silly #magkaru blog. I'll search for more crumbs of them and explained it to you so you can also enjoy it too. And as Hikaru said in every single outro video; BYE! 👋🥰
