On The Monster Blog of Monsters, you mentioned that Magma Python ribs can be used as cores. If it's no trouble, what traits would you associate with a Magma Python related core?
Oh, hmm. The Magma Python is a magical serpent native to Africa, specifically in Cameroon, and the ribs are also used as protective charms, when not used for wandmaking. As a wandcore it would actually give the wand a degree of rigidity, which means it would seek a fairly stubborn wix, however it is, by nature, a fluid and mobile creature, and would someone who is nonetheless adaptable, within their own stubbornness. A wand made with such a core would, of course, be naturally inclined towards fire magics, but may also have some skill with earth and nature magics, including spells to nurture plants, depending on the wood.
