Numel store their own intensely hot magma inside the hump on their back, which often erupts as they age; remnants of the cool lava begin to form two small volcanoes on their back. Although they experience both internal and external transformations as they age, Numel are dull witted by nature, and are often unaware of these changes. As they grow older, anything that triggers their temper is likely to set off a violent eruption.    [Old Version]

#323 Mega - Found in the craters of volcanoes, Camerupt are hot-tempered Pokemon with the ability to Mega Evolve, so long as they are paired with Cameruptite‎ and a trainer they trust. Though their volcano-like humps are normally dormant, the energy of Mega Evolution causes their back to erupt, spewing molten lava in a constant eruption. Their thick coat becomes longer and denser, granting additional protection, while the magma within is superheated, causing additional damage to their foes. With an explosive personality and a short temper, Mega Camerupt have a deep hatred of moisture of any kind. Trainers must take care to keep their Mega Camerupt’s anger in check, and be wary that the Pokemon doesn’t exhaust its large internal stock of magma.
