A match of two Generation 6 Megas, these two have both had plenty of time to garner fans!
A sort of counterpart to Mega Sharpedo, Mega Camerupt is the signature Pokémon of Team Magma's Maxie in Omega Ruby, and a bad tempered beast! The volcano on its back erupts with fearsome force, backed up by a big Special Attack stat and the Sheer Force ability that makes many of its moves scarier than those of others! In its mega form, Camerupt becomes short tempered, and its deep hatred of water makes it even angrier- causing a particularly strong eruption when its rage hits a boiling point. And like I said, those magma flows hurt! One of its only downsides though is its pitiful 20 base speed, tying it as the slowest Fire type Pokémon with Slugma, Torkoal, and Litwick. Despite the anger issues though, can you find it in yourself to love it? Does Mega Camerupt earn your vote?
Up against Mega Camerupt is the mother and child duo of Mega Kangaskhan! A unique transformation for a Mega Evolution, as the main body of Kangaskhan- the mother- remains unchanged, and instead all the mega evolution energy is channelled to her child, who grows up slightly and becomes a fierce fighter in its own right! The two fight in perfect harmony together, with the child following up its mother's attacks with the same attack again- albeit at 25% strength. This is actually a bit of a downgrade, as the child used to hit at 50% strength back in Generation 6, much to the terror of competitive players! For the mother Kangaskhan, the whole process brings out strong emotions, with seeing her child grown up more makes her think of the day it will inevitably leave her. That being said though, Sun's Pokédex says that watching her child keeps her spirits high, and that's worth celebrating! Does this more emotional Mega Evolution lore stir you to vote for this pair?
