I would make the argument that Charles ended up breaking his back because Erik was *too good* at shower sex.

ok first of all STEVE IS GONNA BEAT HIMSELF UP CUZ HE JUST LOST BUCKY AGAIN AND HE LOSES INNOCENT LIVES THAT HE TRIED TO SAVE HES GONNA BE TEARING HIMSELF APART AND THEN TONYS GONNA BE ALL 'someone's gotta make a sacrifice' and STEVE WILL BE ALL 'well my life sucks and ive been suicidal for a while ill do it' BUT FORM SOME REASON HE WONT DIE AND HELL BE WONDERING WHY HES STILL HERE IF HE CANT EVEN HELP PEOPLE AND STOP BULLIES LIKE HE SET OUT TO IN THE VERY BEGINNING

second of all, i think tony’s gonna die. i think steve’s gonna be close to dead and tony’s gonna go all out to stop ultron and end his mistakes and as a result he’s gonna die. he’ll have a cameo in cap 3 as flashbacks to steve to cause him pain and a reason to fight and all that. i also think that nat/bruce thing isn’t gonna work out the way everyone thinks it is..

Ok I don’t really have strong feelings or predictions about the movie, but as long as Steve survives, I’ll be happy. And yeah the Nat/Bruce thing is weird.

AU where charles never met Raven. He goes to uni as planned, parties even more than he did when she was there. He isn't done with his doctorate when shaw is going crazy, but charles sneaks into the investigation. he jumps in the water for erik, but goes on the run with him instead of making him help the CIA

Oh the possibilities. I think at first, Erik is thrilled to have Charles on his side. This telepath, who is more than willing to use his powers loosely, who doesn’t mind blurring memories and changing minds, is the best asset Erik could ask for in his fight against Shaw.

But I think there would be a part of Erik that is increasingly intimidated by Charles’ powers, perhaps even a bit suspect of him. Even as they grow closer, begin sleeping together and talking of the future, Erik begins demanding promises that Charles will never use his powers on him. And I think this rejection would be devastating to Charles, who has never had a mutant around to accept him, who finally found out he wasn’t alone and had started to believe in this mutant brotherhood Erik is preaching only to find out Erik can’t accept him. 

I see this ending in dark!Charles.
