Halloween Playlist 2019: Bonus Anime Music Video Edition! Today’s song is this techno remix of the Phantom of the Opera theme, from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of the same name (based on the Gaston Leroux novel).

The accompanying music video is made from clips of the segment titled “Magnetic Rose” from the anime anthology film “Memories,” released in 1995. That story is a sort of sci-fi ‘haunted house in space.’ I would love to see someone attempt the space suit costumes from that. I feel like I saw a pic of that online a long time ago, but haven’t been able to find it since.

Why am I a cosplay superfan.

A cosplay superfan.. I'm honestly not sure. I don't know why I'm so attracted to it now, I mean my friend used to always tell me things about cosplay and I had absolutely no interest in it, but then as I grew up one could say I became a bit more exposed to anime and cosplay, everyone was so cool! I just suddenly fell in love with cosplay, and I was just like "Wow I wanna do that too." I never thought about my dreams for the future and just lived life as it is, but cosplay became the trigger of my dream, it made me experience things that I never thought I would even encounter. It made me meet people who are now a huge part of my life and I probably wouldn't survive without, I had lots of fun everyday. Cosplay made my head and heart hurt a lot, made me cry and curse the people around me, but not once did I ever regret wanting to cosplay, in the end everything was worthwhile. Although everything I've said is cheesy, they're true, it's really hard not to seem cheesy when you talk about things you love haha ^^". Just like everyone, I had a seriously hard time answering the question, the things I felt- the things everyone felt when it comes to cosplay is really hard to describe, there's too much to put into word, but in the end we're all the same, we all just really love cosplay!

Honestly, I find it strange that people contextualize your work, because you study Egyptology should know better than others, instead of others have to say Sorry for my english ç.ç

Hmm, I just keep getting the feeling I am meant ignore those who have studied 10+ years for their Egyptology doctorates ... hence, ignore their expertise, throw everything I have learned in Egyptology by those who have doctorates or working towards them. For people who have just studied divinity ... because they apparently know more?

Shall I plan a book burning for all the text books that I have bought? Sorry Ian Shaw, sorry Garry Shaw, sorry Christian Jacq, sorry Miriam Lichtheim, sorry Toby Wilkinson and sorry Regine Schilz and Matthias Seidel .... all of your work is apparently invalid in comparison.
