“ erik my dear, i will not try to change you.. you know your ways are WRONG and there’s nothing else I can say to change you...” she took her gaze to the ground and her smile fell off her plump lips. as she returned to speak she turned to him. her eyes glowing green and her lips cringed. “ but you hurt a single child of mine, I WEAR TEAR YOU DOWN.”

she’s quiet as she leans on the doorway to his room. his room at the mansion... it feels odd, both of them being back here now...

raven could no longer go on like this. erik had gone too FAR.  when she had chosen him, went with him, she honestly believed that she was doing the right thing. that WAR was necessary. ---- but she was so naive. how could she have thought that she’d be alright with this? raven was so YOUNG, so innocent. she couldn’t deal with all this DEATH, all the pain surrounding her.   & knowing that erik was the cause of everyones misery made it even worse. ‘’ erik, stop. ‘’  ---- charles had been right all along. raven should’ve never left him. ‘’ erik, please.’’ the man in front of them was CHOKING, his hand grabbing the small necklace that was wrapped tightly around his throat. ---- magneto wasn’t getting his answers so killing and torturing seemed to be his only options.   raven stared at the man in HORROR --- scared. he didn’t deserve to die. he was innocent. like all the countles others before.   ----- but erik ignored her, kept doing what he was doing & in that moment raven made a decision. such a foolish one.  the girl really should’ve thought this out more. but the next thing you know she had alrady grabbed the KNIFE from her jacket. raven had to do this, this was the right thing to do. before she could’ve even realised that this was a BAD idea she had already tried to stab him right in the stomach  --- & he caught her wrist. oh no.

his heavy breathing and twisting and turning around in bed were what woke her up. confused and too tired to really understand what’s happening she sits up in the bed, looking over to erik, who had the sheets gripped tightly, his jaw clenched and looked like he was going through the worst.  her eyebrows furowed into a worried frown and she turned over to him, concerned. ‘’ erik?’’ a hand reached for his cheek, touching it softly -- trying to wake him up carefully. ‘ erik, wake up. you’re safe, you’re with me. no one can hurt you.’’

her head was resting on his chest, she could hear his heart beating and his arm was wrapped around her. it was so PEACEFUL.     moments like these were rare.  but that didn’t matter, --- all that mattered was that she was with him. he acceped her, loved her and cared for her no matter the color of her skin.     and for that she loved him. truly and with all her heart.   & while she knew that he might not return her feelings in the way that she did, she knew he was everything to her.                  ‘’ you know i wish it could always be like this.’’
