Erik stared at the other for a moment then turned his head away "Would it surprise you even more if I told you it was a small dog?" He questioned. Not that he was embarrassed. Smaller animals liked to get underfoot. It wasn't new to him that he couldn't predict these incidents. Though as she had asked the right question, he supposed "Keen eye. Good. But perhaps it is as simple as something like that." Once comfortable he looked down toward his arm and then moved to lift up his shirt a bit, seeing some bruising starting. He would not say exactly what happened. But the deflecting with tripping was a very close description of what may, or may not have happened for him to get these wounds. Some could probably say, maybe he tripped over his own ego...

Erik stared at the young man for a moment, then he looked away. He didn't know much about the other. But their skill was needed here, it seemed. However, Erik also liked to mess with Xavier. They were best friends after all. Rivals, even. Erik looked toward the school, then. Taking in a breath he thought a moment before holding out a slip of paper with the item he wanted the other to take written on it "This right here. Now go along, quiet like." Erik instructed, waiting for the other to get to work. There wasn't much hope he had, Xavier or one of the other occupants inside the school was likely to notice Felix anyway. This was perhaps more a test to see how good Felix was, than anything to do about stealing from the mansion itself.
