For my magnified image, I decided to use my denim jacket as I wanted to explore textures. I focused on different areas of the jacket and managed to produce interesting images.
For my location shot, I used my parents bedroom as my mum hangs her clothes on a rail. This allowed the image to look retro and fashionable.

tiny worlds practical research
Here is my research for tiny worlds. I will use lego figures as that is what I have to use in the house. I am going to having a superman Lego figure lifting a slab of rock with another Lego person sitting underneath it, to give the the affect that he’s rescuing the other figure
Magnified Image Evaluation - Updated
For thus brief i chose my theme to be on plants and nature. I chose this as my theme as I really enjoy plants and have many the i could shoot at home. i thoghut my theme was a really good concept as the plants had many different texutures allowing me to capture very different and striking images. I really enjoyed the shots i captured in the studio and seeing how the lens extension affected the images. I found it to be really interesting as varing the lens extensions really changed how the images looked as you could see the smallest of details. Some of the techniques i experienced from this brief were using the lens extensions for my images. I would continue to use this technique to see how other objects would be affected and to se how creative I could get with the lens extensions. For my inspiration I googled food macro photography to see how other people captured their own images. Also, I found some clever techniques from twitter and also youtube advertised products on youtube to see how the products were presented up close. My most successful part of the project was the lighting on the fruit shots. personally, i really like the reflection from the kiwi shot as it makes the kiwi look really appealing. One problem that i encountered during this brief was that I was really struggling to come up with a concept. To counter this I ended up switching up some of the plants I had brought so that the images would all look different as previously they all looked the same. From this brief I learned that it essential to explore many different techniques as they can really vary your images. For next time, I would explore many different techniques and different subjects to see what else can be captured. Overall, I am pleased with the images. I like how the colours really pop out in the fruit images and the different textures throughout the images. For next time I would explore different lighting setups and explore different subject matters
