I redid my very first illustration of Magnus. (The original piece was a rough concept, so the painting was also quite loose when I did it for the "Witchsona" prompt years ago.) New tags - since the bracketed ones no longer work; #Magnus0 (related to the character) #Division0 (related specifically to his story/comic)

how i draw magnus head bc hes giving everyone (me included) trouble

His head is a three faced pyramid or a tetrahedron that is upside down (the base is the top of his head)

references (you can look up more by the keyword tetrahedron)

step by step (how i do it)

triangle

line from a corner of the triangle.

smaller triangle in the top n using the line as a guide. this one will determine where he is looking at, so i tried to do different forms

these fuckass lines for the orientation orr the blush, also they're here to make more clear where hes looking at

depending of the position of the head (and your style) you can draw a low opacity line to add profundity. Whether you do it or not is up to you; Stelyos (magnus0' creator) doesn't do it, but Modmad does it, again it depends on the style you want to go for

Magnus' blush is white on one side and a rainbow on the other, because thats a real light phenomenon (that I don't remember the name of)

anyway here i represented this by using two colors to the two sides

the guidelines we did before will help you orientate the blush
