song stuck in my head: I have a Hamilton page-a-day calendar with a quote from the musical, a historical fact, or a quote from one of the historical figures mentioned in the musical on each date. Today’s page commemorated the date that the first essay, written by Alexander Hamilton, was published defending the U.S. Constitution in the Federalist. So I’ve had bits of Non-Stop (the song that mentions the Federalist Papers) going through my head all day.

aesthetics: I dunno, I like what I like. I tend to go for simplicity, neutrals with a bit of color, classics with a bit of whimsy. I wear jeans and graphic tees 99% of the time, usually with Chucks or boots, and I have purple hair. Sometimes I wear makeup but I’m definitely not what you’d call girly.

Your posts while you rewatch this makes me wanna go back and do it too. I never finished the series because the Eve thing was just too much for me.

Personally, though I hated the Eve storyline because it honestly didn’t make sense - it’s really like watching two shows, pre- and post-Eve - I did like the way the story kind of came full circle in the end. There were a lot of elements I really enjoyed, and now that they’re doing a spinoff with a female lead I really hope we get Truble back. I just struggled at first with the massive dynamic change at the end of season 3/beginning of season 4. Where did my Scooby Gang go?!

I usually make lists at least a week before, and start setting things aside a couple days befor, but I generally don’t actually pack until the night before or the morning of, depending on what time I’m leaving and if I’m traveling by plane or car.37. have you ever been called down to the principals office?

No, but I did get called to the vice-principal’s office in high school once, because my boyfriend and I got caught skipping school. That was the one and only time I was ever in trouble for anything in my entire school career, and I was mortified. But also, when he tried to give us five days of in-school suspension I was super indignant because (a) it CLEARLY stated in the student handbook that the first offense of skipping school would be punished with one to three days of ISS, and (b) this was the first time I’d ever been in trouble for anything. So they gave us four days of ISS and told me it was because I was one of “the good kids” and they needed to make an example of me. I’m still furious about that, honestly. (I did the four days of ISS and it had zero effect on my school career.)
