What is the fic name :)
“Under the rubble” by ToulouseD I read it on Ao3 but lose the link because I wasn’t active on there, thankfully though google search I found the ff.net link where I can fav/follow for later read! It’s a Ichiishi fanfiction! a beautiful love triangle(?) mess it was.
mags-duranb replied to your post “I remember a while ago i dreamed that Narita did the thing and...”
now i am curious, what is "the thing"? and what has happened now with Narita's novel? is Uryuu okay? D:
The thing is basically Narita unintentionally canonized my theory/AU/Headcanon whateverit’scalled. Since the novel took place after 684 but before the epilogue of course that aren’t going to happen but if he managed to tick out all those stuff that are factors to that disaster he might as well just done it.
In vol 1 if I wasn’t mistaken Uryu haven’t really show up, but was mentioned from time to time especially by the Quincies. These are the stuff that kinda being brought up in the novel;
-Heavily implied that at some point in the final battle Hashwald forced Ishida to see into the future. <that happened in my things and whatever it is it can’t be good. I mean it can either be some deus ex machina that can be uses to fix the conflicts happened in the novel or it could be 686 either way someone who see into the future are bound to suffer.
I could be badly mistaken though. It could just be a filler words “what he let him see”? there’re chance it meant something else and I’m completely off the mark and just being paranoid.
-Every mentioned of his name by the Quincy so far make me think they’re planning on murder him in his sleep. Nothing much but it’s enough to make me paranoid of the stuff Narita’s been setting up for the vol 2 here.
Like these novel are sort of Narita doing the damage control and he’s done a great job so far. Might as well explained wtf happened to Ishida in 686, at least give us some clarity that he’s not doing too good. The thing that could happen might happen in the next volume could be him got caught up in another war, have those quincies actually targeting him, have the weight of being the heir to the throne or the biproduct of 2000 year mistake he was once proud of crushing down on him, being Ywarch’s horcrux? People blaming him!? Intentionally distanced himself for being a quincy? Having depression, PTSD, Not happy with life in general? I don’t know all the stuff I read kinda give me the impression that Ishida’s going to be the key character in this, the conflict is basically the fall out of the war, the quincies are still fighting, many people got beef on the quincies, HE IS the quincy. Ichigo may can get off the hook on this because I know Narita is unlikely to write Ichigo but all the stuff for Ishida to get draged into is right there, it’s right there, even if he’s not going to be anything major atlest he gotta show up next volume because Hisagi’s coming to Karakura and he sure is going to interview him about the war soon and hoooo atleast we going to know what’s going on inside his head. Like I want Clarity but I also afraid of confirmation.
@mags-duranb replied to your post “-I think ishida just broke orihime’s record -press x to say kurosaki...”
link please? :D you sure find true jewels <3
Here I don’t think it’s a hidden jewel considering it got Ichigo and Uryu named as main characters, got a lot of reviews, my fav writer recommend it and it showed up whenever I search through ordinary means but for some reason I’ve never clicked on it?? It’s a good read. I have yet to finish it though, a little weird narrative and Ishida got hurt every other chapters

I a having a meltdown cause by every chapters with are closer to the end… i gonna miss this manga so much despite his flaws. I am glad despite Kubo’s penchant to make Uryuu so absent even in his own arc, Uryuu were always flawless, selfless and amazing. I am proud!
oh....(so...nothing to worried about in the chapter?)
I understand, it’s kind of gut-wrenching to think that the manga you know for what, 15? 10? 8? years ends and it’s the one you’ve been getting all work up on a lot too probably the due to its imperfection-ness and that makes it more...scary? I mean I don’t think I’ve come to acceptance state myself, just nearly there. It’s hard to think about how this is going to be the last we see of Uryu...(awe, heck I made myself sad) but yeah all we can do is hoping for the good ending! I hope you get better soon!
Ryuken is a douche of a dad, and Katagiri is a sweet tragic maid/quincy mom but I’ll still have to go with Ryu-chan because I knew him longer and thus become attached to him more
also?? Young Ryuken?? He’s like...ideal shoujo nice sempai??(except the push you up against the wall part but that’s okay) and he looks like TWO of my OCs
Make me choose between 2 characters and I’ll draw the winner
mags-duranb replied to your post “Mother-son tag-team against a big boss in this fic make me slightly...”
you has mentioned this and i can't stop thinking about Uryuu and Katagiri, i am crying ;_;
Cont: ass kicking from her and Uryuu to YW would be so golorious I am sure i would be so dead and happy.
Although in the fic I mentioned it was actually Ichigo and Masaki but YES! the idea of Uryu-Katagiri tag team would be even more GLORIOUS! and based on one of my predicted route it is possible (even though it might not be the best scenario for Uryu)
