The process of hand weaving rattan and water hyacinth to make furniture is an art form to witness at Tambon Lat Phatthana in Maha Sarakham province. Using the process similar to weaving clothes, experts use natural materials ;such as, bamboo, rattan, mulberry paper, sedge plants and water hyacinth. Nowadays, the craft have been developed to weave large furniture ;such as, living room sets and beds. The handmade, artistic products are the main attraction. Witness this art form, which has been handed down from many generations.
