Has your character(s) changed over the time that you have been playing them? How have they changed?

I didn’t get to play Fennel for very long when I first took her on, so she hasn’t changed too much.

AS FOR JANINE THOUGH, I think I’ve changed her quite a bit from when I first started playing her. Part of it is in the ways I changed her backstory (with less of a focus on a mother figure and abandonment issues, plus inheriting the gym at a WAY earlier age), part of it comes from the different characters she gets to interact with here vs when I originally played her (ex. not having a Falkner or Koga here but having a majority of the Indigo League), and part of it is just changes in the type of character I want to play.

I’d say Janine is definitely a lot less jealous and possessive than she used to be in earlier iterations. Not that those aren’t there anymore, because they definitely are, but they aren’t as pronounced or character defining. In a lot of ways, getting the gym earlier and having more of a found family aspect with the League allowed her to mature more and mellow out vs a more high strung earlier version of her.

Which, you know, is really saying something considering how immature she still is.

17 & 19?

What is your weakest point in writing? Angst, fluff, dialogue, etc.?Kinda depends on the character almost? Like, overall fluff tends to be a weakness because most of my characters just,,,Don’t do it well, but I feel like for Clara it’d come easily, whereas angst (which I’m normally on point about) would be tricky for her. 

Do you prefer writing paragraphs or simple sentences?I don’t really consider my writing one or the other, I write a handful of paragraphs but I keep it simple compared to some people, I just like to get things moving along when it comes to RP writing.

               the sunlight filtered through the thick branches of the trees surrounding the area. the soil was moist underneath his feet, rocks and pebbles deteriorating underground. gnarled roots sprouted from the forest floor. wally sighed as he sat on one of the trunks that was covered in moss, hands weaving through his hair out of utter frustration. beside him, his gallade looked from left to right in the hopes of finding the right direction. 

               there was no other way to go about it: they were dreadfully, unfortunately LOST.

               ❛ ugh, ❜ wally groaned under his breath. ❛ i’m so sorry, optimus . . . i didn’t expect us to lose our way so easily . . . we really should’ve taken the other way around, huh ? ❜

               optimus shook his head ruefully and sat beside him, gently patting his back with one of his blades. wally thought that years of traveling experience would prevent him from getting lost in a forest, but he found out that places in different regions could prove to be quite difficult to navigate. he remembered his mother telling him that one of the best adventures was the most unexpected, and wally could only hope that she was right. 

               raising his head from his hands, he looked around the area, eyes widening when he saw another pokemon only a few feet away. ❛ hey, optimus, ❜ he said slowly. ❛ isn’t that a starter pokemon ? it can’t possibly be wild, right ? maybe it has a trainer ? ❜ taking a poke puff from his bag, he calmly approached the decidueye, hand outstretched with the treat on his palm. ❛ hey, there . . . are you lost ? ❜

Alola! Yes, you’re right; this is absolutely where the party’s taking place! I can even see a few people who recognize you — see? They’re giving that same ‘Alola’ greeting you just gave me!
