The Blue Mahseer attains weights approaching 7 kg with a maximum length of 70 cm. Tor Mahseer - is a member of the Carp family and is native to Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan. It inhabits rivers and lakes, also in rapid streams with rocky bottom. It is Omnivorous and feeds on filamentous algae, midges larvae, water beetles and crustaceans.
