Style - My style for this video has been heavily influenced by Hairy Man AKA Harry Teitelman. I find this kind of style to fit perfectly with the message I want to convey.
This type of style has heavy influence on a large part of my animation style and Hairy man creates amazing work.
Research - This video created by Eoin Duffy. Eoin Duffy is an award-winning Irish director of animation now living and working in Vancouver, Canada. This is his latest work for the 100 years of General Relativity. The animation is really simple and he works image and sound together really well. Maybe I don’t have to create something visually challenging but to convey the story using images similar to this video. This 3 minute video felt like a minute because I really enjoyed it.
Research - Story telling can be difficult and Youtube brought the kings and queens of the internet together to tell the story of 2014. This includes, Frozen parodies, Ice bucket challenges and a whole lot of music videos. If you cant identify at least one of these people, you sir have been living under a rock.
Research - This is a very recent campaign about climate change staring some of the most well known people on the internet. Using youtubers for this video is brilliant I feel because a lot of young people look up to these people. The Youtube generation are very opinionated and can be easily influenced by their favourite Youtuber.
