While Lucina never had the chance to enjoy the luxury of peace, her time with Peach always allowed her to reflect and to simply calm. The other was not only royalty like herself, but also had a since of kindness that knew no bounds. She was a role model for the exalted warrior in every sense of the meaning, and sometimes she asked herself how Peach did it. Was it not hard to keep one’s heart open to all without fail? Was it not difficult to balance one’s duties as princess, but also keeping oneself content with the responsibilities? Lucina didn’t truly know despite what many thought, but Peach did.

And that was all it took to win the future princess’s respect.

“It’s lovely,” Lucina remarked, a happy sigh escaping from her lips. Gently running her own fingers through her blue locks, the princess smiled. “I never thought the simple act of grooming oneself would be such a pleasurable experience, so I thank you for your time. It troubles me to know that I am impeding on your rightful duties as princess, so please excuse my manners. I have no intentions to impede with your daily affairs, but I must thank you for this personally.”

{ ☠ ☠ ☠ } -- Dressed up in pink, and ruling the kingdom with a soft fist. Clearly, she was not fit to be a tyrant, nor an effective ruler. Did Machiavelli not say it best when he mentioned that all kings or princes must rule with an iron fist? Through fear and sorrow? HIM understood this well, knew it inherent to human nature to want power and control over fellow human beings, but-- she continuously got kidnapped. By a turtle with a spiked shell.
