The thing was! She actually said, “All I have is my face, so that’s good enough!” and I was like, you are eight, who the fuck has been telling you that??? and I had to be a little more firm about that one.

Unfortunately, that kind of indoctrination starts really early. You can’t really start off with theory when you’re talking to an 8 year old; you gotta hit them where it hurts, such as the fact that cuteness will not get you those exotic animals to hug.*

* Unless you’re dating a drug kingpin, I guess, but that’s a really niche goal
